I don't know exactly ...

But, I'm gonna try to help you.

Are you talking about the water disposal or are you talking about hot air disposal, you are not clear on that.

In either event, if you cannot get what you require from the manufacturer or the store where you bought the product or, a store that sells the product or similar products, you may have to adapt hoses readily available at your local hardware store.

Think garden hose for disposal of water and think drier exhaust pipe (hose) for hot air. Your hardware store shouldhave a big variety of hoses from which to choose.

I hope this response pleases you. Thanks for using FixYa.com

How do i make it continue to run with no bucket so it does not fill and and so i don't have to empty it

Attach a length of garden hose no longer than 5 feet, to the threaded drain hose connection that was supplied with your unit, to carry water to the drain.
1. Remove the drain-hole cover on the back left side of your unit.
2. Connect a garden hose to the threaded drain hose connector.
3. Push hose connector tightly to the drain-hole on Rear Grille with the arrow on the tab pointing UP.
The hose attachment will accept a standard garden hose fitting.
Do not over tighten the hose when connecting it to the hose connector,
use a rubber washer and tighten by hand firmly without stripping the
plastic threads.
When being attached to hose connector drain hose connection,
do not bend or kink the hose. The hose should lie flat from the
dehumidifier to the drain.

I attached a hose to the drain hose connector. When I insert it into the drain hole it is blocked by the back of the dehumidifier. What iw the correct way to insert? Can you send a better diagram?

The drain hose connector MUST be attached to the unit, before attaching the garden hose.
First, the connector is attached to the unit. Second, the hose is hand tightened to the connector.
If you haven't been doing it in this order, that's the problem.

We had a hose attached to empty into a drain, but the hose came loose. Now it won't run because it shows the bucket is full.

Was the hose attached to the bucket or directly attached to the inside of the humidifier?
If it was to the bucket, the hose may have slightly pulled the bucket out of place, disengaging the safety switch. Unplug the unit and wait 5 minutes. Then plug the unit back in. Turn it to ON and remove the bucket and carefully reinstall it. You should hear a "click" sound when it's properly in place and the unit should start back up,

Hope this helps to solve your problem.

Kirby turns on with hose attachement but not with head attachment

Front of the unit, black switch that is pressed by this plastic protrusion from hose coupling has two parts. It is because ANY generation Kirby has speeds - HIGH for vacuuming with hose and LOW for using it with nozzle.
Looks like the switch went bad (Switch HERE)

We have instructions for replacing it too.
The "funny noise" with hose throws me off a bit though. Check if there is nothing in the hose (put a nickle through it).

Good Luck

There is a vacuum hose that attaches inside the unit to a round clear plactic piece. In most cases you can simply cut the small vacuum hose and it will fix the problem.

Connecting hoses on Kirby G4

The hose attaches in place of the beater-bar head unit. To remove the head unit, lift the headlight assembly, then turn the square gray Kirby emblem counter-clockwise 3/4 of the way around until the red triangle on the square portion aligns with the red triangle on the base unit (this disengages the belt). Then flip the silver metal fastener that was underneath the headlight to release the head unit and remove the head unit. To attach the hose, simply line it up so that the safety button is engaged by the hose assembly and then use the metal fastener under the headlight to secure the hose to the base unit.

Dispensing problem w/attachment and maybe floor partion

The F5914 has a hose that must be attached to the pump when using the upholstry attachment. Make sure that the solution hose is pushed onto the pump valve all the way. Try pushing the hose down and then pushing the locking collar down to secure it. This will insure that the hose is fully engaged.
