if you are on iOS 7 you are out of luck for the time being. I think the last untethered jailbreak was for ios 6.1.2. maybe 6.1.3. i say stick with 6.1.2. this guy is pretty good when it comes to info about jailbreak and i regularly check his site and youtube channel

I am very sorry that you have this problem. I will do anything i can to help. To Unlock/Jailbreak the iPhone you will have to go to Google and type in Limera1n. Click on the first link and download that software. You will then have to connect your iPhone to the computer and open limera1n then click "make it ra1n" on limera1n.
