If you used free version, may be expire skype. If used licence version then some setting see like open time, calling connect time etc. scan Full PC, because virus available then not any software open and proper working. So install licence version and full scan PC. And not solved then, Full uninstalled skype software and reinstall skype. I hope silved you problem.
