Sound driver not avalebel

Sound drivers are required to make the sound card in your computer work, thus allowing your computer to output sound. You must have the correct sound drivers software that corresponds with your computer, model of sound card and operating system in order to get sound. Sometimes when your computer has had an update, you may need to download your drivers again. Sound drivers are available on the Internet to download and install for free. 1. Find the model of your sound card and identify what operating system you are using, as well as the model or serial number of your computer.
To find your sound card model, go to the Start menu, open the Control Panel, locate and open the Device Manager. Near the bottom is an option called "Sound, video and game controllers." Double click to open the sub-menu. There you will find the type of sound card you have.
To find your operating system, right click on My Computer on your desktop. Click "Properties." The name of the operating system should be listed at the top.
To find your computer model, it will vary from PC to PC. For laptops, check underneath for a label. For desktops, check on the top or left side of the tower.
2. Open an Internet browser and navigate to the website of either the manufacturer of your sound card or the brand of your computer. Most computer brand websites, if not all, supply drivers you can download from their support and downloads section. For example, if you have a Gateway computer, go to www.gateway.com. Find "Support," then "Drivers & Downloads." Fill out the required fields to search for the driver.
3. Look for the driver that corresponds with your sound card model, computer model and operating system. Click the link to begin the download. When it asks if you want to save the file, click to save to the desktop. After the download is finished, double-click the file and follow the on-screen instructions to install your sound driver.
I hope you find it very helpful.

Good evening. When you connect the computer system unit to a television sharp lc-32a47e AQUOS not hear the sound. Explain why. Thank you

The reason that you may not be getting sound is the cable you are using to connect the computer system to the television. Without that specific information I must speculate that this is the case. The only cable that carries both video and sound is hdmi. If you are using an hdmi cable then you must go to your compute system's sound properties and designate hdmi as the choice. Even if you are using dvi to hdmi it will not carry sound. A VGA (an RGB) cable will not carry sound.

On this television in particular there is input #7, which has an input for the computer system and an audio jack so you would connect an audio cable between the computer system and the television. It does not appear that you have to designate input #7 for audio to the television when doing this. It appears that the sound will come through automatically.

I have aw-840 sound card that will not work on windows 7 I can't get sound from right front speakers. ? Thanks Bill

Check with the Sound card manufactures web site and then the computer manufactures web site; You may have a compatability issue; excuse me of being coarse but computer operating systems are not the same as computer application systems( you are comfused). In this age of black box maintence you can not just change any sound system with any computer form. Also the sound card may be defective.

let us know of your success or lack there of.

How do I play music from my lap top on this sound system?

your laptop has an audio output jack that is 1/8 inch sterio .. your sound system likely has RCA input jacks .. you can get a cable from radio shack that has a 1/8 inch (3.5mm) sterio plug on one end and two RCA plugs on the other ..
plug the 1/8 inch jack into your computers audio output (headphone jack) .. the RCA plugs will connect to the AUX (analog) input on your sound system .. select AUX on your sterio system to select the computers input .. now you should have great sound from your computer . the computer likely provides only sterio information so the multi (7) channel feature of your sound system will have to fake it ..

Sound Problem with MAC OS X 10.4.11

This sounds obvious, but the system volume could be down. Go to the System Preferences, and select "Sound". Make sure the output voumne is turned up, and the mute is not on.
If that doesn't work you could try "zapping the pram".
  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
  3. Turn on the computer.
  4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
  5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound again. Continue this until you hear the startup sound four times.
  6. Release the keys.

Hey sori ive lost my sounds system on my computers

Friend there are several possibillities to this problem and we'll discuss it one by one.
The first possible problem is that your operating system might be damaged by a virus that is why your sound system doesn't work. The solution for this problem is to have an updated anti-virus program on your computer and clean your computer with this anti-virus program. After you have done this procedure, you have to install a software that is compatible with your sound system or if you have a sound card on your computer use the software that is packaged along with your purchased sound card have it installed. After doing this procedure try to connect your sound system to the output of your computer usually there are holes or terminal in your computer that is exactly suitable to your sound system's jack and make sure that you connect to the output line. If this doesn't work install a media player to your computer and repeat those procedures mentioned above. In installing those software it is easy just follow the instructions and read carefully the images and characters presented by your computer screen.
Thanks! I hope i've solved your problem
