I have a pentax optio s that fell on the floor. It no longer powers up, and the lens remains outside of the body and is slightly off its mark.
Can you suggest a place for repair? What is the best way to treat this problem? The camera is still within the 12 month warranty period. Will this be covered?

It is not likely that camera drop damage will be covered under warranty.
But it never hurts to ask.
