On the lower side of the powershot unit. It should read: use only genuine Powershot or Arrow T50 staples or Brads. I hope that helps. Good luck.

I have owned a Black & Decker Powershot before. Throw it away. They are **** . Stick with a Arrow or Craftsman. I didn't like the Black & Decker and gave it to a friend that was looking for a staple gun. He threw it away ! Worst excuse for a staple gun I've ever seen. Awkward to use and preforms on a scale of 1 to 10 , doesn't even hit 1 !

I did see a video on U tube not sure if its your model but have a look .You can try just powershot 5700 on line there is some things that may help.

Hello.I wonder if the people who engeneered this thing ever used one?Try turning it upside down and pulling upward (away from the tool) very hard. This will release the latch which locks the magazine and allow it to slide open. Please remember to pull very hard as this is the key to opening it. Best of luck.

They load point side down, into the center track of the loading tray. (Same place as staples.) Hope this helps

Hi Sharon. It is absolutely essential that you get the staples designed for this stapler. These are Powershot 5700 staples.
