How do i get a picture in the "pp " feature ?

If understanding you correctly, you are not "performing a test", but instead are reporting a problem. Possible solutions: first, when cable is securely inserted into its port, SLOWLY rotate the cable; doing so might give a brief, clean connection thus allowing completion of whatever task you're performing. Second, connect pp to multiple locks. If pp gives same language on every lock, you likely will need a new pp. If you have onsite a second, "known working" pp, try it on the same various locks. If 2nd pp works fine, almost certain 1st pp needs replacement. Final tidbit: before replacing, contact Help Desk and ask if the pp model(s) you are using have any bearing on the issue. I had your exact same problem, and I remember they asked about pp model #'s. Hope this helps.

You have to give PP access to your bank account or credit card when you set up an account with them. When paying somewhere online by PP they will pay the merchant, and then deduct the money from your linked account. That way no merchant sees your financial details, and you do not have to send money yourself.

PP offers protection for the buyer. If you get scammed when paying by PP, ie by non-delivery, you can lodge a dispute and they will reverse the purchase and credit you the money, if satisfied with your case. Usually there is no trouble with this, although the process can be slow.

If your transferring the video via USB then with Sony Cams you will need to download the drivers and install them (the sony website or google with normally have them)... then restart you computer and attempt to capture again using WMM.

PP seems corrupt, try reinstalling it and/or look at troubleshooting. if still f**ked then try rolling back your drivers to your camcorder and reinstalling them with a clean package.

You may not have picture messaging on your account. Check which features are included on your plan. If picture messaging is included, make sure nobody else on your account has blocked this feature.

Sorry, this camera doesn't support the feature. From pp 30 of the manual, "This camera does not have a feature for superimposing dates on images. By using "picture motion browser", you can print or save images with the date." The picture motion browser is described in the cyber-shot handbook, pp92.

I THINK I REMEMBER reading that Antec had introduced a feature on some of their psu s where essentially the fan(s) were thermally controlled - if the psu was not working very hard it remained cool and the fan remained off but as the psu got warm with additional load it gradually increased fan speed. Perhaps this the issue you are seeing and nothing is wrong ?
PSU's are generally difficult to open and contain few accessible parts. some you can actually change the fan. I don't know about yours though.
