I have the EdgeCraft 610 Chef's Choice Premium Electric Food Slicer. Where is the safety valve located?

There is a safety fuse at the slicer's base.

Not turning on but power light is on

Make sure the bolt that holds the blade cover on is firmly tightened other than that you may have an issue that needs to be addressed by a tech, usually safety mechanisms cause this

We have a cookworks food slicer FS8114/A and the catch that holds the blade in place has boken. where can we purchase a new blade. I could not seelct from list so i select food processes to be able to post...

TAKE DOWN THE MODEL NUMBER OF THE SLICER AND CONTACT THE COMPANY THAT MADE IT AND ASK FOR REPLACMENT .

Used slicer about 4 times. russell hobbs RHFS1,

Just a warning, the slicer requires sliding a safety switch to the right before the on switch can be turned on. I say this because my first thought was that the on swtich didn't work. I want to save you that confusion.
