It shows the standard line of the shooting distance and indicates the position of the CCD plane in the camera body. Use this indicator when measuring camera-to-subject distance. The exact distance from the lens-mounting flange to the CCD plane is 46.5mm.

A plane is 48 miles west and 49 miles north of an airport. The pilot wants to fly directly to the airport. What bearing should the pilot take? Answer should be given in degrees and minutes.

Draw the airport. (X marks the spot) Draw the distances from the airport (to scale) to indicate the position of the Plane. Use a protractor to work out the correct angle.

To Calculate:

a=48 b=49 Angle= Tan-1(a/b)

Is the Zeiss conquest Z-plex scopes first or second focal plane?

Zeiss Conquest scopes are all second focal plane scopes. This indicates that the reticle, Z-plex in this case, is located on the second image plane.
• Reticles on the second focal plane remain the same size regardless of the magnification setting of the scope.
• When on the first focal plane, reticles will increase or decrease in size as the magnification is changed.

Stryker F27 C with Spectrum DX6i Range Problems

Have the Transmitter checked by Horizon Hobbies who are the agents. They do not charge and will generally replace faulty components free of charge. It may have a faulty RF board which is not that uncommon.
The receiver will give an indication of loss of signal. The receiver led flashes in a sequence indicating the number of lost frames during a flight.
The Spektrum should be good to 1000 metres.

Blurry spot on bottom left of picture

It sound like you have some dust particles or a smudge spot on the CCD screen (actually on the low-pass filter in front of image chip). To leave an image on CCD, the dusts must be closer to the image plane to be registered so it should be somewhere closer to the screen or right on it. Take a look at the screen with "CCD Clean" mode and blow out any dust. If the smudge is on the screen, I recomend trained tech should clean it. good luck. Artifacts inside the camera - need a D70S user guide

It sounds like you are getting dust on the CCD panel inside of the camera. Blowing off the dust should fix it unless it became stuck to it. Take care to not accidntly scratch the CCD panel.

The CCD panel sits where the film plane should be if the camera was using film.

Doesn't record

The most obvious problem here would be the Lens Cap. Is it removed? Information on the screen-- time and date, recording speed, etc., indicates the LCD is working-- this is likely a faulty CCD. The CCD is a tiny sensor in the camera that receives the image from the lens, like film in a camera. If yours is a JVC camcorder, check out this link. http://www.jvcservice.com/service/custnoticecamcorder.asp?ReqType=CCD

Panasonic models also have some CCD issues. Hope this helps.

36afx61 vert problem

What is the vert problem? Usually, a break in the foil indicates separation of ground planes, but they will converge to a single point somewhere. If there is solder that ties the planes together, this may suggest that someone has modified the board. Again, what is the problem with the TV?

Can I take pictures while viewing subjects through the monitor of the camera?

No, you cannot because the Electronic Controlled Focal Plane Shutter and Mirror is in front of the CCD.

Built-in lens

The built-in lens "all-in-one" designed to be digital, which means it is specifically matched to the CCD. Cameras offering interchangeable lenses are designed for 35mm film, which usually does not have sufficient resolution for a Megapixel CCD sensor. When interchangeable lenses are removed from the body, the CCD and internal mechanisms are exposed to dust in the environment. Contaminants are a much bigger problem on digital cameras since the CCD is much smaller that a 35mm film plane. One of the primary reasons for using interchangeable lenses is for a wide variety of focal lengths. The E-20N contains a 4x optical zoom 9mm-36mm (35mm-140mm equivalent in 35mm photography) built-in lens. In addition, there are wide angle, telephoto and macro add-on lenses. Some interchangeable lenses cost as much as the E-20 camera itself. Other lenses that were originally designed for film cameras do not deliver same focal length on a film camera as a digital camera. For example, a wide-angle 28mm lens attached to a digital camera would only provide 56mm equivalence. This system offers great flexibility and will suit approximately 95% of most shooting needs.
