Hello
You are reporting about the lack of speed to your fans I thinks and posts this solution. Normally lack of speed will be due to faulty capacitor. In most cases the value of this capaitor will get reduced. Replace it. Its capacinace value will be markde on it. After replacing the capacitor; till the speed does not get improved, make sure that either start or run windings in the fan has shorted winding in it. If this is the case, the body of the fan will get hot, and a hum sound also will be present. First replace the capacitor and check. If you want any more assistance from me get me by Fixya. OK.

Why would my climate control fan quit operating?

It may be a fuse, you would have to check your fuse box. I would check the fan itself. Whether an old fan or a new fan , ware does occur sometimes fast sometime it takes years. Check fan buy moving fan shaft up and down ,side to side. if it moves fan bushings are bad. Sometimes you can repair if your capable, but most times you just replace the fan. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Is it the engine cooling fan or some type of fan relay switch because my fan stopped working and jeep overheats when idling or at speeds below 30mph while A/C is on.

I would look to the electrical side of the fan operation. You have three basic components to the cooling fan operation...the fan switch, the fan relay, and the fan motor. You need to determine what part of the system is not working. If you can run a 12V jumper wire to the motor and it works you know it must be either the switch or the relay. if you jump out the switch and the fan runs, you know it must be the switch.

Hard Drive keeps revving???

What do you mean by revs? The noise gets increasingly louder? I doubt you should be hearing the hard drive. It may be a fan that changes under load or temperature. Have you contacted the manufacturer or the repair facility to inquire about this issue? Otherwise if you know someone with the technical capability. I would take the case off and you should easily be able to distinguish then if it's the fan or the drive. Do you know what fan it was that needed to be replaced? Once I have more information I can assist you further.
Thank you,

Microwave inverter technology - better now? I am considering one of Panasonic's new 2009/10 Prestige units. Panasonic's explanation of the benefits of inverter technology to produce more even heating is...

An inverter-based unit is more efficient and uses less power than a design based on a high voltage transformer.

But with increased complexity / higher component count comes a statistically higher chance of failure, especially in inverter circuit boards that are machine soldered, where sometimes not enough solder gets on parts that are large, run hot, and/or run with high currents. This can lead ot bad connections and blown components.

As a longtime technician, I have always liked Panasonics very much, but I have never been a huge fan of inverter-based designs due to those factors. But again, as a technician I repair my own stuff, so it's not a big deal. And everything is slowly moving that way anyway.

I would not at all discourage you from buying an inverter-based Panasonic, but this is one of those rare times when I would advise you buy an extended warranty with it.

Once it's out of warranty, if it fails, call around and look for a repair shop that has a technician who does "component-level repairs" on circuit boards, instead of just changing boards. That will save you on repair bills.

It's often best to find a TV shop that also does microwaves, instead of an "appliance service center" which does not work on electronics.

You can find authorized Panasonic servicers here. Bookmark that for later.

Switching off of SA-AK-37 Music system

Do you have the manual, I think panasonic put some of there fault codes in the back.

Seems to have lots of people saying it could possibly be a power supply fault, an amp fault or shorted speakers.. Some people have gone to the extreme of actually buying new components and trying to unsolder and resolder to try to fix it themselfs.

Try contacting Panasonic, they will be able to advise you better ot possibly repair / replace the system.
