I have a CryBaby 535Q for repair, but everything is microelectronics and can't see if something is blown. The wah sound does not activate with the switch activation.

Check the switch itself... they OFTEN get broken mechanically... far more than the electronics failure. Use an ohmmeter to check the switch. Second most common failure is in the power adapters or use of the wrong adapter.

Well the switch does not seem to be the problem, because there's bypass when it is not engaged, and when it does, it only controls the volume up and down, but there's not wah wah at all. Could it be any broken connection of the pot with the rest of the circuit??

    Thanks for your help!

Dunlop crybaby 105q wah effect not working

Sounds like a short in the effects board of the unit causing it to bypass the volume pot.

Hi i have a slash crybaby wah pedal. every time i turn it on their is no signal the batteries are new and the cables and guitar and amplifier work it is just the pedal do you have any solutions on...

First thing is to verify that the in and out cable are to the correct side. These units will bypass in the wrong direction so the fact they pass when off does not guarantee they are cabled correctely. Other problems can include broken solder at the in or out connector. Dos the indicator light come on?

All lights on and no sound . Only work in bypass .

Make sure you have the in and output cable to the correct side. If backward it would act as yours does. If they are correct, time for servicing the unit.

Louder off than on

From the schematic it appears that there is negative feedback reducing the gain when the wah portion is active, so this MAY be normal for the unit.

No effect.

Hi,

Please check if you step full down if the switch under the pedal is switching. If it does than check the battery.

Gerard
