Brand new out of the box 2025dn prints horizontal stipes through the printed page. This seems random and the stripes are of different colors. Sometimes, if lucky one good page gets out. Also sometimes colors are faded or fade on one end of the page.
Changed the driver to HP universal printing PCL6 and changed the paper.

What you have is a dried up color cartridge. You can try to use the <clean print heads> in the diagnostic tools section of you priner software. (usually, just try to print something & the window will appear) Sometimes you have to clean heads, then print test page like 2 or 3 times before it clears up. If that doesn't correct it, don't worry. Have your color cartridge filled (staples, office depot, & other stores do it cheap) - or - replace it with a new cartridge. You may have to run the clean print heads program after installing a new cartridge, but this will definitely fix your problem.
When you go to print. In the box that say's print with printer/presets there's another that say's copies and pages, scroll down to Color Management. Then you will see a Off (No Color Adjustment). Try that and also in the same dialog box is Print Settings that's where you put your paper type selection. Hope this helps
Hi, I have the same problem, which has just been diagnosed as a defective developer drum by a repair specialist. The new part is $120.00. Should have the serviced unit back
