Most Dryers has a thermal switch that when the air flow gets so hot it will shut down the dryer until it cools down or on some models the thermal switch has to be replaced .. The most common problem to cause this is a restricted air flow somewhere in the exhaust of the heated air causing the dryer to reach too high of temp, which could cause a fire .. The LE error or fault code indicates that the washer motor is either overheating or has lost connection to the motor control circuit board. Turn off the machine for 30 minutes to let the motor cool down. Then, restart the washer. If the code comes back immediately the motor is not likely to be at fault and so you should check the wiring from the motor to the motor control board. Also, check the wiring and condition of the rotor position sensor, also called a HALL sensor. If the code doesn't come back on immediately, but returns after the washer has run for a while, the motor stator may be defective.
I would guess new belt is slightly misrouted. From front, belt comes down left side of drum and goes around belt tensioner and then back to the motor pulley. Without the tensioner pulled to the left, the safety switch will still be tripped. Pulling tensioner to the left completes the circuit to the motor and allows motor to run.
