The "E30" error code indicates reading/writing data on a SD card has failed. Especially, the error code "E30" may appears when you tried to remove a SD card while the camera was processing data. Solution To clear the "E30" error, try performing the following procedure. 1. Try using another SD card. If you have another SD card, try loading it in the camera. If the error code is not displayed when the other SD card is loaded, there may be something wrong with the first one rather than with the camera. 2. Use your computer's ScanDisk utility to check the SD card for errors. Use ScanDisk to check the SD card for card error or card failure. Refer to the instruction manual for your operating system or Windows Help for further instructions. (If you are using a Macintosh, use the "Disk First Aid" program to check for card error or card failure. Refer to the instruction manual for your Macintosh OS for further information.) Be sure to back up the data on the SD card on the computer before you check the SD card. If a card error or card failure occurs when you use your computer's ScanDisk, there is something wrong with the SD card. Follow ScanDisk's on-screen instructions to solve the problem. 3. Format the SD card with your camera Try to format the SD card with your camera. Please refer to the "Camera User Guide" for your camera for instructions on formatting SD cards. Also, please note that formatting a SD card will erase all data on the card. Once the SD card is formatted, follow the procedure described in step 2 above and use your computer's ScanDisk on your computer to check the SD card for errors. If a card error or card failure occurs when you are using computer's ScanDisk, there is something wrong with the SD card.

The "E30" error code is displayed when reading/writing data on a storage card has failed. Especially, the error code "E30" may appears when you tried to remove a storage card while the camera was processing data. Solution To clear the "E30" error, try performing the following procedure. 1. Try using another storage card. If you have another storage card, try loading it in the camera. If the error code is not displayed when the other CF card is loaded, there may be something wrong with the first one rather than with the camera. 2. If turning the camera off and then on again, and then performing steps 1 to 3 above fails to clear the error, a camera malfunction may have occurred. Please contact the retail store where you purchased the camera or the nearest Canon service center. If the error code is displayed right after you took a picture, the image may not have been recorded. Switch the camera to playback mode to check if it was recorded. Precautions for handling a storage card: - Do not remove a storage card or turn the camera off while the camera is recording, loading, or erasing data on a storage card. - storage cards are high-precision electronic devices. Do not bend, force, or subject them to shocks or vibration. - Do not attempt to disassemble or alter a storage card. - Place the storage card in the supplied case for storage. - Moving a storage card rapidly between temperature extremes may cause condensation in the card, leading to potential malfunctions. To avoid condensation, place the storage card in a sealed plastic bag before moving it into a different temperature area and allow it to adjust slowly to the new temperature. If condens

Error E30 flashing on washing machine

What brand. Ih it is a hotpoint. I found this on the net from a washer help site in the uk

Error 30 (on Hotpoint) just means the motor isn't working. Several things, including the power module, can cause this. The most common cause though is worn carbon brushes. There is also a 7.5 amp fuse on or near the power module, which can blow. This fuse is on the motor circuit to protect the circuitry of the power module. If it blows, then the motor won't work and you will get error 30.

If it has blown, it's likely to be caused by the motor. I had one last week where the armature in the motor had shorted to earth which blew the 7.5 Amp fuse.

To check the brushes, with the machine unplugged! Have a look at my Hotpoint and Creda carbon brushes diagnostics You can also Buy Hotpoint & Creda carbon brushes

Error 30 for the gallery series

Good Afternoon Betty, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

If you are getting an error code E30, first check if it is a false error code by resetting the power to the appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds. If the error code persists, it could potentially mean a number of things: a pressure sensor issue, defective wiring, valve assembly problem and/or control board issue. I would strongly recommend connecting with an expert technician to assist further.

HOTPOINT WD71 ERROR E 30

Hello john walker24
Welcome

You said, you have a Hotpoint Ultima 1200 Washier dryer model WD71s and keep getting an E30 error code after it fills with water.
Any idea what the problem is?

This is what Hotpoint tells us!
E30 = A motor drive problem has occurred.Try running the programme again.
If the problem persists call for a Service Engineer.

BUT, I will tell you to unplug the appliance for 5 minutes and see if this resets the system and solves the error code.
Sometimes it is only a glitch and you can reboot and be alright if there is really no mechanical failure!!
Let me know how it goes?
Huuum,
Please remember to leave a rating!
Thank You.
Waiting for your response!
