Question about Cell Phones

I have a verizon LG droid touch screen phone, it got slightly wet last night and now I cant open the screen with my security outline, it rings with incoming call and shows txt coming in, but I cannot open screen to get to them.

Try this trick:
Get a bowl or container and a package of white rice(it has to be white rice, this will not work with brown rice).Fill the container with the white rice.put the cell phone in the container with the white rice. Leave the cell phone in the container of white rice for 36-48 hours. The white rice absorbs the moisture out of the phone.

Wet screen + LG Optimus Q

All smartphones for the last 10 years or more, have capacitive touch screens with Gorilla Glass. It's possible the water had electrolytes in it which are shorting the surface of the glass. Wash it thoroughly with distilled water several times and dry it completely, and reboot the phone.

Cant remember password how to do factory reset on droid motorola

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions.
ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000

Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.

My touch screen isnt working. All images appear but i cant unlock the slide screen. i did not get it wet. How do i fix it?

There may be a physical issue with your touch panel. You can get the part at Droid 2 Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at Droid Repair Guide.

Touch Screen is unresponsive. Tried doing factory reset from recovery mode. Touch screen not responsive still and stuck at "Touch the droid to continue".

If Verizon doesn't replace it for you, you can find the touch panel at Droid Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at Droid Repair Guide.

I have a white screen with 3 green droids....it won't do a thing The screen appears frozen.....what's next? I didn't drop it . I've tried calling and my voice mail picks up...

Sounds like you may have a broken screen. Could just be a connection problem. Did the phone get wet by any chance? If Verizon doesn't replace it for you, you can find the screen at Droid Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at Droid Repair Guide.

My lg env touch wont turn on at all. its been on the charger all night

i had the same problem with my env touch but i was reading through the review and getting mad because i didnt want to take mine to the verizon store and have to get a new one and lose all my texts. so i thought i would try to turn it on again. and when i hit the power button on the front i accidentally hit the clear button at the same time and it turned on. it might just be mine but its worth trying.
