Hey, I recently bought a Casio F-91W but it was supplied without a user manual so basically I'm having problems setting the date, time, etc. I have been onto the Casio website to try and download a user manual but my model number on the reverse (593) is not recognised. I have also tried inputting the model number from my friends watch, she has a F-94W, as the functions are basically the same I assumed that the manual would be similar, however, her model number (1071) is not recognised either. Can you please shed some light on what I should do or maybe what I'm doing wrong. Your help is greatly appreciated Andy

How to set the time on my Casio g shock 5121
You should be in time keeping mode to do this. The manual say's press the "A" button for 5 seconds not 3 seconds. "A" button should be pressed until you hear 2 beeps (5 sec), if you only hear 1 beep (3 sec) don't let go of the "A" button, if you do you certainly will not be able to change the time, zone, dst, date, etc...

I've never used one of these watches, but after looking online, I think this is how it's done:

Try using the top-left button to cycle through the settings, and use the button on the right to change them. So I'd imagine that after pressing the top-left button enough times, the indicator for the hourly beep will start to blink. At that point, press the rightmost button.

The indicator on the face of the watch should light up to indicate that the hourly chime is enabled.

Sounds like you have set the year incorrectly. Continue as if setting the time as you already have done by holding top left button, then when screen flashes scroll with bottom left button and the watch scrolls in the following order - seconds, hour, mins, YEAR, month, day. Check that year is correct and also check the format of the month and date. In England our format is 10/2/10 which is 10th Feb 2010 (dd/mm/yyy), however some casio watches are in US format mm/dd/yyyy. So check this out too.

Reset itslelf. WIll not display correct time, day, or year
My Casio wave ceptor keep resetting itself like this when the bottom right (D button) is pressed. I need to make sure I reset the city code or before trying to receive as it defaults to Tokyo. Press & hold the top left (A button) and date changes to city code. Scrole through codes using right bottons.
