Mozilla crashed I cant get it to operate on my Desktop computer.

It is not Firefox. Your computer may be 'infected' or has a malfunctioning system software. MAY be a 'hard disk' proble

At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button, go over to the Help menu and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.... Firefox will start up with the Firefox Safe Mode dialog. For Windows XP, click the Help menu and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled....

I'd recommend just restarting your computer, if that doesn't work update or reinstall firefox

(2) your operating system has all patches and updates installed.
The current version of Firefox is 3.6.15. It's also good idea to run a full anti-virus scan of your computer periodically, and to do other forms of regular maintenance (disk defragmentation, eliminate temporary & junk files, scan for registry errors).

In this case, the best thing to do, would be to completely uninstall Mozilla Firefox, reboot your computer and then, reinstall it.
If it still keeps crashing, then there may be some other issue(s) with your computer (operating system)

theres just need to change your browser....i would recommend you Google Chrome

Please delete the content of documents and settings/<crashingusername> /applications/mozilla/firefox Directory for echo crashing user and try to start it again.

Yeah i get the same thing, i just send an error report to mozilla every time.

The good thing about Mozilla is that it saves your pages that you had open. So when it crashes it restores what you had and isn't that much of a problem.

Just wondering, does yours crash everytime you use it? Mainly, can you use it at all or does it crash so much that you can't.

To do this you would restor it back to factory which means old you programs and documents that have been added will be permatly lost inless you put these files on a usb flash brive or burn them to a cd.

U must disable some stupid add-ons. Simply click :

1. START
2. all programs
3. Mozilla Firefox --> Mozilla Firefox Safe Mode
4. In the window that appears check DISABLE ALL ADD ONS and then hit the RESTART MOZILLA button

Worked for me after 2 long weeks without mozilla :)
