I've lost my Acer Aspire Z5710 dongle. Is it possible to find some other USB device to connect existing keyboard and mouse? Maybe there're any third-party compatible dongle manufacturer?

Why can't you just connect the keyboard and mouse to the usb ports on the machine?
You should be able to find the part on ebay or Acer parts for that matter.
I hope this helped.
Good luck and have a fantastic day.

I've meant existing wireless keyboard and mouse, there aren't any cables. Of course I have to use now cable devices, but prefer wireless. It's a pity too that Acer parts has no offers for Acer Aspire desktops Z-series :(
Thank you very much for yor help and have a nice day.

  • no pc told make or model
  • 100,000 exist.
  • USB mouse , direct wired, and keyboard or both wireless. keyboard and mouse if yes, the battery is dead.
  • in the mouse keyboard.
  • some keyboards talk to the mouse directly and if keyboard dies, so does the mouse so we fix the keyboard first.
  • the battery can in fact fail easy in 6 months.
  • no PC told no keyboard model told off bottom label, (maker and model)
  • I call bad batteries if only they are dead. not PC dead , not screen dead, just those 2 dead.
  • does a wired USB mouse work direct to PC, if yes, now you know with 1min. labor yes PC works
  • we can not guess what is in your hands blind, tell it or photo of it posted.

  • I can not guess what is there in your hands ever.
  • If not wireless, try all USB ports on secret PC before condemning anything first.

How Can I connect my wireless Logitech mouse to my laptop?

You should search for small wireless USB dongle (receiver) and insert it into USB port of your laptop. You bought The dongle with mouse. Sometimes it is placed inside mouse on bottom side. See picture.

A mouse driver is usually installed automatically in a while after the dongle is connected to PC.

Wireless keyboard, model KG 0973. Is it Bluetooth compatible or does it require a dongle?

The Acer KG-0973 is an RF keyboard that originally came with a wireless mouse and USB dongle. Both the mouse and USB dongle are needed to pair the keyboard to your computer.

Why the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse don't work on my acer Aspire Z1-621 all in one pc

Strange that BOTH stopped working. Did you check batteries?
Remove USB controller for mouse and test keyboard alone,
Then replace mouse and remove keyboard USB You should use another keyboard (USB or PS2) because your computer won't start up without a keyboard.
If both fail, test them on some othrer computer, ask a friend. Might take sust seconsds to do it.
If test on other computer shows ok, you may have some problem in USB ports.
If actually neither of them work anywhare, so no way but still interesting question, how both of them went bad at same time?
Actually I 've heard many complaints of these wirelss keyboards and Mouse. Probably there are some very bad quality around.
I had a wireless mouse and worked only for about 3 months.

Wireless keyboard & mouse will not connect

Would try going into the device manager in the control panel and make sure that the usb dongle is being identified correctly by windows. Also, would unplug any other usb devices so that they are not interfering.

Wireless keyboard & mouse will not connect

Then your problem is most likely driver-related. The chances are nill that both mouse AND keyboard are defective. Looks like it is down to one of two scenarios. Either the driver is incorrect or corrupt, or the dongle itself is malfunctioning. The driver would be first choice since it would be a free fix to rule out.

try uninstalling the driver first, then reboot. Next go to mfg website for the keyboard/mouse/dongle and download a fresh driver. Then reboot. Note that preferably, the correct protocol would be to install the driver first, before plugging in the dongle. Hope this helps. One question I can think of regarding the dongle is whether or not the dongle lights up when plugged in - some do. If yours is supposed to but does not, it could be the dongle itself. The bottom line now is between the dongle and a driver really. I'd be willing to bet the mouse and keyboard are just fine they just can't interface because the dongle is the gateway and you know the rest...good luck.

HP 8159URF Wireless Keyboard Dongle lost! How can i use it?

Unless you can find not only the exact part number but a dongle with the exact same serial number its not possible.Having the same issue.I say shame on HP for creating this issue by not wanting to sell type specific replacements to resolve this problem. They would prefer that you buy an entire new set. Good Luck.
