The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

You can get your software here free of charge. The manual can be had here, free too. If you'd rather contact the manufacturer's customer support - you can do that, here.

One (or more) of the above links should get you what you're looking for. Please rate my reply - thanks!

I have a ds6618 and cant retrieve my pics what do i do ,i'm running vista OS and it says i need a driver ,i lost my disc, what are my options?

Connect your camera to computer using your usb lead. Go to my computer and you should see the camera (probably disc E ) Double click on E continually until camera files and pictures are shown. Highlight the pics you require and select move to file (move to my pictures) This achieves the transfer to your computer
