1. Turn the power off. 2. Press and hold the following keys for over 10 seconds: Down Volume Button + Power/Lock Button . 3. When the Factory Hard Reset screen is displayed, release these keys and follow the instructions on the screen. How do you root a cellphone from cell phone for LG optimus?

I assume you're talking about the Optimus G? If not, please provide specific model number. Anyway, it's been awhile since I've had that phone, but when I did, you had to have a computer to root it. I don't believe that has changed. Step-by-step instructions can be found at the following links:

Wanting to unlock screen password

2 ways factory reset and remember the password. There are 3 ways to reset it but only 2 are accessible. There is a way to bypass the password lock but only if the phone was put into USB debugging mode before lost password. If this is so let me know I will step by step that method.K

LG E612 PATREN LOCK

You can reset patter lock if you remember Backup PIN and Google account account ID and password, without loosing your data other wise hard reset is only option but all user data will be erased.

I have put a phone lock on to my samsung GT-3350 and I can't remember it what do I do?

Normally when you put a password on a phone, the ONLY way to get into the phone is to put in the password. If you don't remember the password, then you will need to do a hard reset on the phone. Unfortunately, this will erase everything on the phone.

The only way to get back into the phone is by doing a hard reset which will, unfortunately, erase all data on the phone. If you have the Seek through Sprint, get them to back up your son's contacts before doing that hard reset.

you can enter your code in the following way. LG Android Phones
Start your LG Optimus GT540 Android Phone
Click the icon to open the phone dialer
Enter 2945#*540# and press send
Enter the provided unlock code (which you have purchased)
Click 'Unlock' , then it's done.

sir if you forgot the password or don't know the security code, You have to master reset the phone. Contact your service provider to get a master reset code at free of cost....You can also visit http://www.unlock-zone.com/ and can see different options there to get unlock code for a price. You can try this it might work for you

Turn the power off. If your LG Optimus T is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
Hold the Home and Volume Down button
Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your device

All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the LG Optimus T. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.
