F1 error on Fisher and Paykel Dish Drawer

Sorry did not see your problem report earlier. If you have checked the sensor under the bottom drawer and it is dry, then F1 is caused by top drawer power filter fault. This means the bottom drawer controller is giving the F1 error but the top drawer controller has no power. Can you confirm this.

Both diswashing drawer are running with F1 flashing

We found that the unit was floofing because a thin, white plastic tube behind the drawer had broken. I learned that the plastic tube is to preven the electric cables from kinking when the drawer moves in and out. The broken tube was preventing the seal from working properly and water was getting past it to the bottom of the unit where a water sensor detected it, shut the washer down, and displayed an F1 fault. The simple solution was just to snip the tube off so that it could not reach the lip of the drawer and intefere with the seal.

Son put normal dish washing liquid in top draw!

ok, the machine flooded and the water has leaked into the bottom of the machine, 1st turn off the machine at the power point. 2nd- open the top drawer and remove the suds from it. 3rd. open the bottom drawer and look under it to the bottom of the cabinet . that is where the water will be. use a torch if you have to. now you need to dry the water up. you can do this with a hair dryer or a fan heater. the reason the machine is flashing F1 is because the water has triggered the flood switch and you need to dry up that water. please reply 4 more help.once dryed F1 will disappear. please make sure all the suds are removed from the top drawer. good luck

Showing f1

The f1 fault is cased by a leak on the dishwasher.
It is activated when water gets to a dangerous level in the base of the appliance near to the PCB.

The main reason this happens is putting cups on the drop down shelves and when the lid comes down to seal the drawer it can't and leaks. If you look at the drawer when open there is a lip around it, if anything is proud of this lip the lid will not shut properly.

To rectify this problem you will have to disconnect the power and remove the bottom drawer and the dry up all the water in the base. If you leave the appliance long enough it will dry out by itself.

Once you have done this and the problem still comes back you will need and engineer as there is a problem with the lid motors or the seal’s.

Good luck hope this helps..

We have the Q 2 drawer dishwasher stopped working.

the f1 is the flood sensor....a leak has accured....either a dish to larger or lid motor has failed. will need to remove bottom drawer and soak up water and then let air dry for a day or two....turn off the breaker this will keep it from beeping and running the pumps....after drying unit will run, but need to watch the dishes you put in drawers.

My dish washer has a f1 code i put to much

f1 code indicates a leak.open bottom drawer, find the spring clips on side of tub where tub meets the front panel.push the clip and you will be able to slide the track back and remove tub. put tub on floor to left you should see a puddle, dry it up should be ok. Sensor is sensitive to moisture allow 24 hrs to reset if all visible water has been dried up. hope this helps ,please rate my solution :)

Dish drawer leaks

The f1 is a flood error. There is a sensor in the bottom reading water. You have to dry it out before you can do anything or the drain pump will just keep running. Check the lid of the drawer you where using to see if anything may have been holding it up or if the seal is torn. If that looks ok you will have to check the lid actuators to see if one is not working. I would replace both right and left if one is out.
