Heres what you need to look for when you turn the motor on it it sucks air downward you have it going backwards. Reverse the two leads that are connected by plastic coated leads most of the wires are purple and yellow. The fan should blow upwards it probably going to be clockwise but now you know what to look for. If this helps please rate me and do a testimonial.

Frigidaire ltf2940fe1 error code e52 it says replace either the drive motor or speed controlboard

Hello Amy Taylor - If both the drive motor and speed control board has been replaced, then I strongly suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately. The washer could be experiencing a wiring failure or communication error with the board, which would need further diagnosing.

My fan in turning counter clockwise and there is no switch to reverse it, what can I do?

You need to check what sort of motor it is. Some motors will not go the other way around.

Central air conditoner outside unit

Well, the answer is yes. I have seen a bad capacitor cause a fan motor to run backwards. BUT..... After replacing the capacitor and WIRING it up the right way, everything should be fine. A lot of aftermarket condenser fan motors are reversible, so it can run counter-clockwise (CCW) or clock-wise (CW). However, most factory fan motors come one directional and on your specific unit, the air should always push out of the top. Running the unit with the fan going backwards will actually some-what do it's job, but damage other components like the compressor because it runs at higher operating pressures than what it is designed for.

Have someone else look at it! That's going to be the best advice I can give you. If they can prove that a capacitor caused the motor to permanently run backwards..... I want to know! Hope this helps and good luck with your unit.

Just purchased an AO Smith condenser fan motor, installed it but it runs counter clockwise, how do i reverse it to run clockwise?

Hi, this is very easy to do. On the back end of the motor you will see a pair of wires plugged in to each other. Kill the power and just unplug and reverse these wires. This will reverse the rotation of the condenser fan motor. If you have no wires, check for an arrow on the motor housing. It will only go one way if there is one, and you will need to take it back. 2 pair of wires...., just reverse them very easy. Tie or tape them away from the blade.

How to replace bulb in front bumper turn signal housing 1995 jag xj6

hello,
  • Identify the blown bulb. Note that if a headlight bulb has blown, the dip beam is on the outside and the high beam is on the inside. Turn off the ignition switch and light switches.

  • Open the hood and replace any blown headlight bulbs. Press the plastic spring clips and remove the bulb holder from the assembly. Pull the bulb out of the bulb holder and replace it with a new bulb. It only fits one way. Be sure not to touch the bulb's glass. Replace any parking lights at the same time, they are in the headlamp unit too.

  • Remove the front turn signal light unit in the bumper to change the turn signal bulb. Push gently on the inside edge and insert a blade between the bumper and the lens at the outside edge. Compress the spring and remove the lens. Fit a new lamp by inserting it into the plug. The side marker light is changed using a similar process.

  • Open the trunk to replace the rear fog light, stop light, tail light, reversing light and turn signal light. Remove the rear light cover and turn the bulb holder fastener 90 degrees counter clockwise. Remove the expired bulb, fit a new one and replace the parts, turning the bulb holder clockwise.

  • Thanks..

Does the bolt on the blade come off counterclockwise or clockwise.

If you are facing the blade from where the bolt is, and the blade's normal operation is to turn counter-clockwise, then the bolt will loosen counter-clockwise. This is universally true for any blade which is held on by a center bolt (table saws, grinders, etc.) This is because the motor is turning the shaft counter-clockwise, and the resistance against the blade as it does it's work is clockwise - thus tightening the blade rather than loosening it. If the blade normally turns clockwise, then the bolt will loosen clockwise.

DD603H is making a sound like gear wheels slipping.A rattling sound when trying to wash.

HI- Probably the Motor Rotor is bad or there is some glass in the rotor. Remove the large screen in the bottom of the drawer (turn lock-nut counter clockwise) and remove the motor rotor (turn outermost plastic part counter clockwise). Look at the bottom of the rotor, you will see the impellers, these are often chewed-up and rough. If so you'll need to replace the part. Also look the the well you removed it from and check for any glass pieces or debris. You should be able to order this part directly from F/P. Motor Rotor. Hope this helps.

    GE washer model WHDSR209

On some models, the drive motor is universal meaning the drive turns clockwise in wash mode and turns counter clockwise in spin mode.
Possibly the motor windings is defective for the wash mode and thus the entire drive motor will require replacing.
    Hope this helps..
