I have a 50" plasma HDTV that is only several months old. My television has no picture. It was working on Tuesday but Wednesday morning when i woke-up, I had no picture. I unplugged everything, I even turn tv off and then on. TV comes on but there is no picture or sound. I cant even watch my DVD's, What could be the problem?
This sounds like a power supply problem. I would advise that you get a qualified TV technician to troubleshoot this problem. The reason being is that the TV does not come on at all. The problem might be the main power board (AC to DC) or the secondary power board (Switching Power Supply and distribution board). Have these checked first.

Yes it's. Just bring it 2the nearst electronic shop for repair. T power my be spoile or some insect get inside n make it burn. It's ever happen 2 my tv also.
I repair a tv just like yours with same problem. I replace the x and y sustains boards. If you do replace them, please make sure it is disconnected from power outlet.
Check the fuses on the ysus & zsus boards. Are any fuses on boards open . Disconect power cabels to ysus board first {board on left} . put tv on . if the light is green the ysus board must be replaced.
Yes, you are correct. there are a few component issues on the power circuit board that will need to be replaced. the mani component will be the capacitors and transistors.if not repaired soon, this unit will completely stop working.
