My P2055DN is making a squeaking noise while printing. Not that big of a deal I guess just annoying. I hope nothing major is on the horizon. Please advise if I should worry about this or not. It doesn't do it when it warms up, just when printing an invoice. Thanks.

If you are printing invoices from the MP tray the pickup roller might be squeaking against the separation pad (common with this design). Other common squeak is toner cartridge noise.

My HP Laserjet P2055dn prints out with a shadow of everything printed.

Hello,

The ghosting is caused by the fuser assembly. The main user roller has a Teflon coating that keep the toner from sticking, when the coating wears off you start getting the ghost printing like you are having. You can get replacement fusers online from many sources, just do a Google search for P2055DN Fuser. They are user replaceable, only requiring a Phillips screwdriver to replace.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

Model - HP Laserjet P2055dn. Issue - 49 Err 64003D5, Turn off and then on . Tried many times, keeps showing the same error after turning on. Change the network cable but no use

Had the same error. Turned out the pdf I wanted to print had an empty page. When I removed it, the error disappeared and I could print the document.

Hp p2055dn beeps evertime something is printed. Can i disbale the annoying beep?

I had the same problem. According to HP, their printers are very picky when it comes to power. (no battery back up, power strips, etc...) I had my printer plugged into my UPS. I unplugged it from the UPS and plugged it back in directly into and outlet. The silence while printing was blissful.

Rollers squeak.

This probably means the rollers are getting slick and a little glazed. Dell printers seem prone to this. It's harmless unless it is the primary (big) rollers that push the paper up into the toner drum. See my advice to the paper jam question for fixing that.

HP LJ P2015DN making noise/squeaking

Hi,
As you mentioned that the printer makes loud grinding noise or squeaking when page comes out than i feel this is the noise coming out due to faulty fuser.
I want to be sure so please open the rear bin and try to print if still noise comes than i m sure it is fuser.
If there are smudges on the printed page or if some film coating is coming out with printed page than fuser roller are physically damage.
However in this case i assume fuser is faulty.
If there opening the rear bin noise goes off than top output rollers are faulty.

Thanks and Regards

My ford had the same probelms. To get rid of the problem replace your shocks. They are what is making noise. Easy fix by yourself. Or sears has a good deal on shocks and installiations right now
