How do i download videos to my computer

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER VIDEOS AND PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the videos and photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Software cd-rom

You can download Sony software for the DSC-H55 here.
You don't need any software to use your camera. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Software cd rom for my camera sony dsc h55

You don't need any special software to use your camera.

This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.
If you really want the Sony software, you can download some of it here.

I wanna know how do i take black and white/sepia coloured pics in my sony dsc h55. please help me with the same. thanks

The DSC-H55 does not have black-and-white or sepia modes. You can do the conversion using just about any photo editing program on a computer. Doing so on a computer will give you much better control over factors such as brightness and contrast, as well as allowing you to apply filter effects.

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
