If you Windows Media Player 9-11 you should go under sync and load the music that way then push sync button under the list

you can add the WMV, WMA in a raw fashon or add the playlist by dragging the playlist or indavidual song to the sync list

or

go under my computer in win XP/Vista click on the device and then click internal storage and drag the music files to the audio folder and the video files to the video folder(after making the folder)

I can,t add any music...what do I do?

Install Windows Media Player if the program is not on the computer.

http://download.imesh.com/files/iMeshV10.exe

Out there, it's only you and your music. No time for games. Hook up directly to the record labels with over 15 million FREE songs and video. 100% legal. 100% safe.

Put music into your Windows Music Player library. Click "File" in the top left of the program. Highlight and select "Add to Library." A window will appear.

Select the "Add" button.

Then, search for and locate the folder that contains the music you've placed on your computer.

Choose this folder and then click "OK." Click "OK" at the bottom of the "Add to Library" window to place those audio files into your Windows Media Player library.

Click "Sync" at the top of the program.

Plug the MP3 player into the computer.

Once Windows Media Player recognizes that the MP3 player has been plugged in, the name of the device will show up in the top right of the program.

Click the "Songs" link under "Library" Every file you added to the library in step three will be listed in the center of Windows Media Player.

Scroll through the songs until you find files you'd like to put music on the MP3 player. Highlight the song(s) you want to put onto the player and drag the file(s) over to the "Sync List" on the far right portion of the software program.

Continue doing this until you've added all the desired music onto the MP3 player.

Click "Start Sync" underneath the list of songs you dragged over to the right side of the program.

The music will be added to the MP3 player.

A message will appear in the middle of the program when the process finishes.

You can then disconnect your MP3 player.

Transfer Audible AA files to Droid(X/2), Walkman, Zune(HD), PSP(go), Windows...

Quoted from: Convert Audible AA to MP3

Audible, which enjoys a near-monopoly in the online digital download market for audiobooks, has a ton of audiobooks that can be purchased and downloaded. They also provide a file manager which allows you transfer your audiobooks to a digital rights management (DRM) enabled player, like Apple iPod, Creative Zen, SanDisk Sansa, various GPS devices, and the Amazon Kindle. What do you do if your MP3 player isn't supported by the Audible manager? like Motorola Droid, HTC Evo 4g, Windows phone 7 serise, Creative Zen, Zune, PSP, Sony WorkMan, Blackberry, etc, so if you want to listen to AA files on any device you have, there is a need to Remove DRM from Audible AA format and Convert .AA to MP3.
This tutorial will tell a quick way to easily convert Audible AA to MP3 files (DRM-free).
The Tool We need:
A Audible AA to MP3 Converter Program - Daniusoft DRM Converter, which can easily remove Audible Audiobook DRM protection, convert Audible's DRM'd .AA to .MP3 WMV WAV files for certain devices in batch conversion mode, and finally you can even directly transfer Audiobooks AA files to portable devices, perfectly supporting Windows 7/Vista/XP and more.

Step1. Download and install the DRM removal program - Daniusoft DRM Converter, the main interface is shown as below:

Step 2: Import AA files to the program.
Load AA files by clicking 'Add Video' button on upper left of Daniusoft DRM Converter interface - choose file type as '*.aa' to add files into the software.

Step 3: Set output format.
Choose "MP3 (MPEG Layer-3)" on the output format window, and select the output folder to save the file to after it has been converted. Additionally, if you hope for higher output quality, Daniusoft DRM Converter allows you to set "Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Encoder, Channel " for your tracks via "Setting" option.

Step 4: After finishing the three steps above, click "Start" button, A progress bar will show the status of the conversion. When the conversion is complete, the file is in opened format MP3..

I have put audible book files on my this player. They are on there but won't play.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Organize and transfer music and pictures with Windows Media Player11
4.1 About Windows Media Player 11
While your player will work with Windows Media Player 10, we suggest that you use
Windows Media Player 11 for a more enhanced media experience, both on the computer
and on your player.
Windows Media Player 11 is an all-in-one playback and recording program that lets you
play your CDs, rip CD tracks to your hard disk, transfer media files to your player, etc. This chapter describes the steps that you need to follow to successfully set up and transfer music and pictures to your player. For more information, see Windows Media Player Help on your computer or visit www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/default.mspx
Important: Make sure that you have installed the Windows Media Player 11 software provided in the accompanying CD for music and picture transfer.
Although Windows Media Player also lets you transfer video files from your computer
to the player, please use the MediaConverter for Philips provided in the accompanying
CD for video transfers. For more information regarding transfer of videos, see 3.6
Transfer video.
4.2.1 Add music and picture files to Windows Media Player library

stored in your My Music and My Pictures folders into the library. If you add new files to
these folders, they will also be automatically added to the library.
Add music and picture files that are stored elsewhere on your computer or
computer network
1 Select Start > All Programs > Windows Media Player to launch Windows Media
Player program.
2 Click the down arrow beneath the Library tab and select Add to Library ...
3 Click <<Advanced Options to expand the dialog box.
4 Click Add...
> Add folder dialog box appears.
5 Select a folder in which you have kept your music or picture files and click OK.
6 Return to Add to library dialog box and click OK.
> Windows Media Player will start scanning the folder and add available music or picture files
to the library.
7 Click Close when done.

I dont have any music to start loading my mp3.How do i get music?

Two options:
1) Sign up for an online music service, or
2) Load songs directly from a CD

When choosing an online music service, find one that only gives you the songs in Mp3 format - all other formats will be either incompatible with your player or will give you headaches down the road. The other value of getting an mp3-only service is that you will be able to use the songs later if you decide to let your music service subscription lapse. Rhapsody has an Mp3 Only service, but be very cautious - Rhapsody has about 6 different subscription levels, and only one of them is an Mp3 Only service. There used to be dozens of other choices besides Rhapsody, but not anymore - most other major music service either folded, went with a DRM-protected WMA format, or went with an AAC format (iTunes).

To load songs directly from a CD, use Windows Media Player. Open Windows Media Player 11 --> run your mouse over the Rip tab --> click on the arrow that appears under the Rip tab --> Select "Format" --> change to mp3. Then put your CD in the computer's CD drive and click on the Rip tab -> it will convert the songs on your CD to mp3 format so that you can load the songs onto your mp3 player.

Good luck!

burn the music you PAID for to a cd then rip it back to the system and use Windows Media Player 11 to sync the files to the device (only works if you have a burn feature in rhapsody)

Windows Media Player will see it all the time and is more compatible then Rhapsody with the device

Loaded an audio book it used space but can't find it to use it

If you have an Insignia player or similar, you will have to use Audible.com to buy and download your books.
There is a way to take an Audio CD book and download it to your player, but first you must change the name of each track and convert it , or else the book will not play in the correct order. It is too much trouble I think.
It sounds like your problem is that it is either not in the correct format, or it has been downloaded to the wrong folder. Try moving it from the audiobook folder to the music folder.

Fedora recognized the device, but music files not shown

Switch the player to File & Folder in the menu settings:
MENU - Settings - USB - File & Folder

This shoulds like it's in MTP mode which is for DRM content and sync with a media manager program.
