I have a Mitsubishi VS-60719 60 in projection TV. It was working fine and then all of a sudden it turned off and then when we turned it back on the blue convergence has a bow to it bowing up in the center of the screen and is offset from the rest of the screen. I have changed the convergence module and didn't help it. there is 2 white lines on each side of the glass part of the 3 color tubes, one on the front and one on the back on the red and green they are both while but on the blue the front one is yellow and the back is blue. any ideas I would like to get it fixed because it was a great TV till this happened.
We appreciate your patience - good luck on your new TV
The Signal Is Very Bad
You can purchase a service manual from this website
http://www.asm-service-manual.com/List/Mitsubishi%20List%20ASM.htm
U have to with prodessionl service man
This is the convergence circuit gone bad. but if you want to do this you must have great soldering skills.
This is a hard repair.
( if you call a shop a cost will range around 400.00 for the repair)
U have to go with a professinol service man
Sir,
Try to reset the convergence and check the calibration settings.
Calibration Settings:
Perfect Color
Perfect Tint
good luck
You can go to www.shopjimmy.com and you can buy the part that you need. They specialize in hard to find parts. Although they are used parts you cant buy them new any longer
Rare but replaced convergence module may be also faulty.check what is the difference with new or old module on.
If that's really the one that is causing the problem replacing it should fix this concern now..
Feel free to contact us back for further help..
Good luck........
Go ahead and replace the STk so we can all see if that really fix the problem if not we need to look for another part here that is causing this and hopefully that time your concern will be resolve..
OK keep us posted if it fix the problem or not
Thank you...
I believe they are not making a board for this unit, but you can call Mitsubishi and better ask that to them if they still make a board for this..
Sorry for that if we cannot fix it now. but getting a new one I think will be the best thing that you can do now...

Stk---stk---stk--- thats it.check the board properly.and get it soldering properly.and check the continuity is complete after fitting stk on the board.thanks
What was the value of resistors have you replaced? What about try 5 ohms higher. e.g. if it was 150 ohms, try 155 ohms. Double check again any shorted pins near that IC that was replaced
Did you try after changing the resistor near the STK in convergance portion.
if you replaced the board then is it the compatible one with the right STK ic..
regards,
have u checked the others near it or have u replaced the same as the values they have.
moreover, did u get any resistance to the previous one or they were open ..
regards,
did u placed the right STK, because they differs to each other with specs.
by the way, look at this link too.

regards,
my question is still there,
have u replaced the right ic STK or got some compatible one.
can u write down the no. here plz.
regards,
dear,
check this link, it contains alot about this issue and hope it will help..

regards,
hope, the above link will reduce the questions from ur end to get solution
ok ,
maybe its the problem of wheel. check it by the way.
was the STK as the previous one.
regards,
dear,
check this linik
it will help u, search on it

You have tried plenty of steps to resolve. Now try this link for more troubleshooting steps: :-)
http://www.retrevo.com/support/Mitsubishi-VS-60719-TVs-manual/id/276bh840/t/2/
This has a very exhaustive list of problems.
Thanks.
Its the board on the television. You also said its an old board. a 1-2 code would stay in tact if it was a bad board. it's hard to tell you this, but either get a new board, or the television is shot :[
please think before you rate.
FIrst of all, lets get back to the original problem... If the entire convergence board is replaced, a complete convergence/alignment procedure must be done. If you still have the original board, replace the ICs on that board along with any low valued resistors or fuses. That should return the set to the old convergence/alignment values. Once this is done, please let me know if you still see the lines.
Thanks,
Dan
Your convergence board is out
If you have surround sound insure the center channel speaker is not on the top of the tv, or any other speakers are around it that will throw off the convergence.

good luck
try this one

If you've replaced the entire convergence module and still does not work the way it should, I would say that there could be a fuse(s) in the -24VDC and +24VDC line that were probably blown when the other module failed.
These fuses are not located in the convergence module but in the power supply.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Have you verify the voltages on the STK ICs?
You should be getting the -24VDC and +24VDC to the ICs.
The STK393-110 that is the one that controls and adjust the convergence settings.
Did you replace that IC?
I just need to ask the question. Have you done any hand soldering before replacing the STK IC?
I will send you the servive manual for you to check where all the connections go from the convergence board.
I would suggest to check all the voltages as per the schematics.

Try unplugging power cable for ten minutes.
Check also that the mirrors in the light tunnel are fine, and that the bow it is not a shadow from a misplaced mirror.
Also bad color wheel can give you similar problems.
Ok, keep us updated if you need any more help.
here you find
Details and datasheet on part: STK393-110
here you can buy part
STK393-110
Let us know if you need further help.
I dont this a problem of wheel.
If it is a projection tv does not have tube , it have a lamp projecting a light beam inside light tunnel on color wheel, and then on display.
See here:
How To Replace the Color WheelUsually you know that you have to replace color wheel when colors get very bright and you get color spots, particularly at screen corners.
Yours does not look like a color wheel problem.
It is convergence.
They are not tubes they are lamps. When one is gone you replace the bulb
You do not seem to have understood how your tv works, you should call a tech, as you are risking to destroy your tv set.
Tip: not all information you receive is correct, sometimes experts can get confused by the fact that they cannot inspect you TV directly. Get the service manual for your tv.
If lamps light up they are ok, If you get bows on side of the screen then one of ICs can be bad, or more likely you have to perform a setup procedure.
If you do not perform convergence setup procedure you won't have TV fixed even after replacing ICs.
You find out if convergence ICs have blown or are good by testing the pico fuses at the base of the ICs.
You need to buy the service manual for your model, there you will find convergence setup procedure that must be performed after replacing convergence ICs and whenever there is a problem.
You buy service manual from any of the TV part sellers already posted.
If you keep refusing all solution you will only get generic comments.
What did you download?
You can buy service manual here for $5.
Mitsubishi Service Manual and Schematic
If you keep refusing all solutions nobody will be able to give you decent support.

Usually answered in minutes!
I've tried that before and it wouldn't work
Fuses are fine
Mirrors are fine
I have a manual for it what I'm trying to figure out the most is why they are small black lines that flicker and also why the lines on the glass part of the blue tube is blue and yellow and the other 2 tubes are white
No speakers on the TV
can you buy one of them boards
Its the old board but I have changed the IC's and the resistors and checked the fuses they are showing good I had 2 resistors that was bad.
theres nothing that comes up when I held the input button and menu button but when I first plug it in the green power light flashes 3 times real fast.
the blue is the only thing that is offset about an inch in the middle and the 3 or 4 inches on each side and its the only color that is bowed the picture its self is not and when the lines flicker on the screen the whole picture flickers
the STK IC's that your talkin about is the black one on the huge heat sink or is it somewhere else. and the fuses that I checked was on the board on the right side there was 2 almost where the boards come togather
ok I got it to give me a code the code is 12
No no one had adjusted anything it was working fine and then went off and then when we turned it back on it was messed up
yes that is the one that I replaced but i'm wondering if there is a chance that I got a bad one when I ordered it they sent me 2 of them I'm wondering if I should take it all back apart and put the other one in it or it its something else.
yeah I got it to work it gave me a 1-2 code
Does the strips in the glass tubes mean anything with the 2 in the red tube and the 2 in the green tube being white and the 2 in the blue tube one was yellow and one blue. I'm just wanting to make sure that the tube aint bad
yeah I had and I even had my father-inlaw double check it cause he as done alot of had soldering
I'll see if I can find anything on that website
yeah its the factory board from the TV. and the code the TV gave was a 1-2 with the power light
I will I was hopeing to be able to fix it cheaper than to buy a new one
thanks
I will try this and let you know thanks alot
I'll try it
i'll try it and let you know
I never replaced the board its the same one I just changed the STK and 2 of the resistors
yeah I checked the other ones on the board and no I never got any reading out of the old ones
the 2 I replaced was 2W 6.8oms
I'll look that site and see if it helps any thanks
my STK IC's number was STK393-110
i'll check it out
I order one and they sent me 2 of them and I'm wondering if it would be worth taking it back apart and putting in the other new one.
I will
I'm going to retry the stk again by putting a new one on it and see if that will fix it
what do you mean this is a problem of wheel
whats the chances of the tubes going bad
what is the problem of the wheel that you are talkin about
there is only one STK on my board i'm going to try it again and if it still dont work then i'm going to get a tv repairman to come look at it or see if he can try the STK again incase i'm not getting it soldered good enough but I've never had that problem before when it came to soldering
there is 3 tubes in there one has a red lens on it one has a green lens on it and one has a blue lens on it
no not yet i'm going to try the STK again
ok but if the lamp is gone it wouldnt light up would it cause they all light up the same
i will I"m going to replace it tonite when my father-inlaw gets home to help and i'll post on here if it fixes it
I've got one that I downloaded
replaced the STK with another new one and now my picture is got an hourglass look to it Can you but a new board for them or do they no longer make them
service manuals
Thanks you to all of you who have tried to help me fix this TV but I have decided to throw in the towel on it and just go buy a new one.
