Hello
There is tow leads for every speaker. Out of which, one will be marked [+ve] and the other will be negative. The negative terminal of the speaker should coincide with the negative terminal of the respective output terminal from the amp. For the other speaker also, this must be the same with respect to connection. If any one connection in one speaker has been reversed, the sound effect will be effecteed. When we connect in phase, that is [+ve] and [-ve] correctly to both speakers the sound effect will be great. If one among them is reversed, the effect of one speaker will neutralise the other, and the sound spectrum also will be neutralised. Checking this connection whether it has give in correct way is calle "check phase'. OK.

Sound coming out from FM and not from CD player or any other source, can not be from the connection that is if the connection is rightly connected...

To check it, you might need to use the manual for help..

How do I connect multiple (two or more) 3 phase ac power sources (from wind turbine alternators) to a single 3 phase junction to power one device?

what did you mean by single 3 phase? single phase motor have two wire output 110-110, 3 phase gen have 3 wires 110-110-110. if only two wires here ,this is single phase, all appliances are only single phase so you can connect it here, except some 3 phase motor or dynamo. the ac current has no polarity so you can connect to it all kinds of load depends upon the amperage of of your turbine generators

Bought used ge spectra range had to change the power cord to 3 prong to fit outlet--now nothing works except light when turning burners on and clock

Did you hear a "pop" or smell like something was burning? Sounds like old oven could have been 3 phase, and you new oven single phase, Check the power requirements for oven and see what kind of power you are supplying it with.

Stereo Amplifier fades out. My Sansui dolby pro

No that's how to describe a problem, folks - with details. Using internal FM as the source is always the preferred way of troubleshooting system-wide receiver audio problems (no cables or setting in the way).

Does the sound come on immediately with power and then fade or is there a small delay while the electronics stabilize, a click and then sound that fades?

The fizzle probably means something is rapidly overheating or a capacitor is malfunctioning. If both channels do it, I'd suspect a common power supply problem. Can't help much more than that.

No volume in TV sound. I have volume in both FM radio, and CD modes.

I presume you mean no audio whatsoever from the TV as a source... If you have the Audio Out of your TV connected with an RCA jack pair to TV Sound In (or any other source EXCEPT Phono) and you properly select that source AND your TV is configured to output its sound to that path, you should have something audible. Perhaps your TV is set to Mute the output when using its own speakers or something like that. My guess is the problem is external to the receiver.

Try connecting something else to the TV input on the receiver to prove or disprove its function.

Philips MC156- makes a loud hissing sound when switched on?How do i get rid of this and get the system working?

Do you mean audio hissing sound or is there smoke coming out the back?

In what sources does the hiss occur?

Audio hiss with the FM tuner selected would mean it's between stations or you don't have an antenna. Try tuning around the band with an antenna attached.

Communication

To modulate the signal just means to systematically vary one of the three parameters of the signal: amplitude, frequency or phase. Therefore, the type of modulation may be categorized as either AM: amplitude modulation FM: frequency modulation or PM: phase modulation

No sound

1. check if the amp is in PROTECTION mode (might be a bad speaker or shorted output)
2. check the 'MUTE' switch
3. try to use the FM/AM mode to isolate an input source. If there is sound then check input source.
4. ...still no sound have a techinician check it.
