I have a Kyocera Finecam SL300R digital camera that wont turn on. I have purchased new batteries and charged them but when i insert them and try to turn on camera it wont come on, It will come on when i plug in charger and turn it on that way. Is there somewhere where i can send camera to get fixed
What was your solution, you just gave me a list of places to send camera, could you not tell me how to fix the problem and then i wouldnt have to send camera away to get fixed (probably at great cost)What was your solution, you just gave me a list of places to send camera, could you not tell me how to fix the problem and then i wouldnt have to send camera away to get fixed (probably at great cost)

if the camera is still not working after using fresh batteries then there is something wrong internally with the camera, probably a defective part. You need to contact the manufacture or a local repair shop to get the camera fixed.
There are 2 possible reasons. Charger is incompatible/defective or Battery is no longer charging due to its 500 cycles life. You may check the output of the charger with Voltmeter/Multimeter if its stable 5V, If its stable then best thing to replace the battery. Good Luck
I bought a few SL400R.. yes I think this is the best camera ever. The battery that came with the cameras always would last very short time, especially in cold weather. But when I ordered new ones online, these would last very long. The specs of the new batteries are the same as the original ones. Go figure. After that I ordered external charger too, so I dont need to use the camera's built-in charger. Works very well.
wat are u sayin thats really very funny ,,,,,,well a t the bottom of the cam ull see a flap whichhas 2 be slided and ull c the batt and the SD card below the flap and ull c a yellow coloured knob just slide it behind and the batt will pop up and just replace it ,,hahaha as simple as that ,,,,though m sure by now ur prob would have been solve d any ways tc
Kyocera online Technical Support team- should sort this for you - it is I thing a switch fault and the camera should be replaced- if it is out of warranty a nominal fee will be charged.
Hi. I have exactly the same problem after owning this "camera" for under two years. Happened aftrer only 16mths.I also bought another battery(which I willl take back for a refund). The only solution that has been offered to me came from the supplier who said to buy ANOTHER one. Nice for them!!!!
