Make sure the filter(s) have been cleaned (Washed) and that the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. If the room temp is the same as the setting on the air con, it wont cool or heat. Just the fan will be operating.
Money saver mode dose not regulate room temperature. All that mode dose cycle fan on and off with the thermostat if in the yes position then fan cuts on and off with the call for cool. if in the no position than fan runs all the time even when cool is not needed. that switch is like the auto/on on a thermostat for central air. the thermostat is what regulates temp in room.
It sounds like the compressor is not running. This could be due to a faulty thermostat, a bad start capacitor for the compressor, a bad compressor overload or simply a bad compressor. You would need a voltage meter to check all of these components.
To get proper cool, keep the tips as follows: 1. Check air filter is cleaned. 2. Check indoor coil is cleaned. 3. Checkindoor blower motor is working. 4. Keep in cool mode. 5. Set temp minimum 3degrees less than room temp.6.Check compressor is working with correctpressure. Thanks. Helpful?
Lowering the temperature setting doesn't change the temperature of the air coming out of the unit it just lets it run until the room temperature gets colder. Check the temp of the air coming out of the unit. If it isn't as cold as it used to be the charge could be low. First though you should make sure the filters are clean and the coils. You should also check the actual room temp. It's also possible the unit doesn't have enough capacity to keep up with the cooling load of the room.
Hello Welcome to fixya. I'm Huuum and happy to assist you
The air conditioning unit works, but does not cool the room
• window open • there are heat sources in the room (burner, lamp, etc) • the exhaust hose is detached • air filters clogged • Inadequate size of the room (too large) • close the window • eliminate the heat source • connect the exhaust hose • clean or replace the filters If all this dose not remedy the problem then you need to see service!

An 11'500 btu Is appr. 1 ton of cooling capacity or enough to cool approximatly 450 sq ft of floor area. Be sure to read the instructions of course and be sure that all the packaging material was removed that may be restricting airflow. On high you should be able to easily feel the air blowing 10-15 ft from the unit and the air should be dropping about 15- 20 degrees when it exits the unit. So if the room temperature is 85 degrees the air exiting the unit should be around 65 -70. The amount of time it takes to cool the entire room depends on how big the room is and how much and the intensity of the heat infiltrating the room and the number and heat output of appliances and people in the room. Hope this helps you out GL!
The black triangle means AUTO, means the fan speed adjust by itself from high-mid-low speed depending in room temperature but the unit is cooling for this function the same COOL mode. Plasma is in the remote control but it never mention in the manual. If the unit dont cool check your temperature setting and mode setting it should be in cool mode and temperature setting should be 18C. But if still don't cool check some error code like blinking light at the indoor panel check how many blink appears to get the correct error code.. If the light is blinking 3 times it means that the room air or coil sensor is defective.
