I don't know the exact problem of your phone, but for me when I had the Xperia X1 sometimes I had to charge it for a whole 24h for it to get enough juice to be able to start. This can happen when you use every bit of charge the battery has got to offer. Maybe this is the case, if not you are more than welcome to come back to me!

Do a hard reset on the phone and that will restore it to its factory default:
While the phone is off -hold down the front left and right buttons
on the X1 and insert your stylus into the soft reset hole all at
the same time.
After that you will see a blue screen says to press R to reset and delete all my existing stuff. Then you will have to calibrate the screen
