Sound driver please help me find the K8V-mx sound driver or help me to find the site for the sound driver........... please????? I need drivers for the on board sound card

SOURCE: sound driver

Hi,

Go to the Asus site , select North America, click on Download,

In Select Product, choose Motherboards;

In Select Series , choose Socket754;

In Select Models, choose K8V-MX;

Click on Search;

Expand Audio;

Select your Operating System.

 

Additional, pls verify that your Audio option is set to “Enabled” in your CMOS/BIOS.

 

Hope this be of some help. Post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Audio drivers for vista ??
I don't think ASUSTek support the Vista drivers for K8V-MX at their website.

It might be best to disable the onboard sound through BIOS selection and use an external PCI sound card with Vista support.
