Do ALL series 2xx2 miele dishwashers have comfort door closing aids?

The Soap/rinse aid dispenser of a Miele G575 is not compatible to be used in a G664 dishwasher. You need to add rinse aid!

There is normally a place on the inside of the door which you unscrew and top up using any Rinse Aid fluid.

It means you need to add Rinse Aid.

Make sure you are using rinse aid. even if you are using tablets which has rinse aid built into the tablets Miele still recommend using rinse aid liquid as well.
Make sure you have the rinse aid setting on 3ml

Plastic will not dry as well as plates as it doesn't hold the heat.

You could call out a Miele service tech if it is still under warranty and he would be able to increase the drying time through his computer.

Makre sure you use rinse aid as this helps evaporate the water at the end of the cycle. make sure the unit is also heating.

Salt and rinse aid are low if the indicator light is on.

Salt is placed in a compartment in the bottom of the inside of the dishwasher. It has a round approx 10cm diameter screw cap.

Rinse aid goes in under a flap in the inside of the door near the powder dispenser

there are springs on each side of the door, near the pivot point. Adjust them.

I have never found that plastic dries very well in my Miele dishwasher as well.
Check your rinse aid indicator to see if it is on. Next to the soap door there is a door you can add rinse aid to. There is also a dispensing control knob that allows you to turn the amount of rinse aid dispensed up or down. Try changing the setting and see how that works. I have done this and it has not worked well for me. I find opening the door after the cycle is done (Just cracking) it will dry plastic alot better

sounds like acrack in ht eseal of hte dispensor itself, replacing the dispensor is the remedy
