Need diagram to replace tension spring for drive belt

Go to the manufacturersame website, enter in the the model number and look under diagrams for the pic of your tractor. My troy Bilt has 2 belts, one for the cutting deck and the other is the drive belt. I would replace both as the cutting deck needs to be removed and it's fairly simple and will save you time. It sounds let the drive belt is the reason for the tractor not moving. Hope this helps.

My tractor is a 2007 troy Bilt super bronco with a new fresh installed motor.

Tape transport failure on tc-366, motor noise but no tape movement

These units are mechanically in need of a good cleaning and application of new grease in the slide plate mechanism. The Play idler that was in the last one i rebuilt was sent off to Terry'srubberrollers.com to have it get new rubber on it. There is certainly a lot of work to be done on these units but they can be made to work again. Personally though, I would just get a Teac A2300S or SX and use that as the overall maintenance and longevity will be better in the long run. I have serviced hundreds of them and I still do. The design of the Teac is not so much dependent on all kinds of mechanical parts as the Sony is. The last TC366 I worked on took about 4 to 5 hours to correct all it's problems. Then when you are done you still have a lever activated deck where the Teac is a solenoid deck with remote capability. I worked at both Sony factory Service and Teac Factory Service so I have had experience in each item.

I need to know the belt size and part number for the 915037 1844 ariens zeroturn

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.

http://partsradar.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ariens&lang=EN&TF=Empartweb&loginID=ariensc&loginpwd=consumer

Make sure pop-ups are enabled... (No ads on site)

Enter this model number:
915037-000101

Then on the side of the page choose: (Scroll) Mower Deck, Belt Idlers and Blades

There are 5 belts listed! There is nothing that relates to a mower or deck serial number either.
You have to know the model numbr of the deck (see item 1 same link to cross ref your belt size)

035
Belt PN: 07241700 V belt (037) = 44 inch deck model 51519000 & 5159100
039
041 / 313
Belt PN: 07242900 V belt (501) = 44 inch Deck Model 51510400

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Ride on mower engine cuts out when lowering cutting deck

hi there

pauly 46 here

off the top off my head - if the tractor starts with the pk brake on , and the operator in his seat,
and you try ty lower deck ( which operates another switch ) it maybe the seat switch is playing up

try pulling the wires off the connector @ the seat switch and retry deck lowering-?

then try fitting a jump wire accross those two connectors you just disconnected at the seat switch and retry

if not check that your switch that is activated when you lower the deck is not stuck closed ?

if not check that your pk brake switch is not stuck closed (it should normally be open when tractor is in use with user in seat, and deck engaged and in gear )

check that all belts / pulleys and blade spindles turn freely and are not siezed / damaged

other than that dont know how else i can help ?

cheers pauly46

Craftsman 42 inch deck mower. Model 917.277611 (2007). LT1000. 16.5hp Briggs & Stratton. Springs on cutter deck assembly broke. Had to re-assemble cutter deck. Re-attached springs and tension arms....

That model number des not show up as a good number on the http://www.searspartsdirect.com site. Are you sure you have the belts on correctly? If it has 2 belts on the deck & 1 is not installed correctly they work against each other. Safely make sure that each blade will turn by hand. did you take the blades off? If they are too long by just a fraction, they will hit ach other, but that usually makes quiet a noise. Get your book out & systematically go over everything you touched or changed. It sounds like something really simple you have overlooked. you can go to http://www.searspartsdirect.com & enter a good model number & view all of the parts diagrams. Sometimes they are a big help, & at other times they just confuse you more:). Let me know what you find!!

I need a belt diagram for a ranch king king plus also i need to know the size for the main drive belt

Ranch King is a brand name of the manufacturer MTD.

Product manuals with part blow-up diagrams are available from MTD's web site,
http://www.mtdproducts.com/
Models are identified from the model number printed on a label under the mower seat.
The PTO and deck drive belts are shown on one diagram and the transmission drive belt is shown on another. The Form number on my printed Operator's Manual is 770-10526A (22HP, 46in cut) for Hydrostatic 817/818 models.

Parts can be ordered directly from MTD or other distributors on the web.

It is my experience that original brand name MTD belts work best.

The 22HP, 46" mower deck Ranch King Pro has 3 belts:

The drive belt which runs from the engine pulley back to the hydro drive unit to provide over-the-ground propulsion is part #754-0349.

A mower has either an electric PTO or a manual PTO, not both.

The electric PTO belt the provides power to the blade deck (runs around the electric clutch on the engine shaft (activated by electric switch, not the mechanical hand lever that engages the mower deck) is p/n 754-0476 for the 46" deck.

The manual PTO belt the provides power to the blade deck (runs off the pulley on the engine shaft (activated the mechanical hand lever to the left of the steering wheel that engages the mower deck) is p/n 754-0228 for the 46" deck.

The deck belt that goes around the 3 blade spindle assemblies on the mower deck, to drive the grass cutting blades is p/n 754-0349

In my experience, the PTO belt lasts about half a season, the other belts break about every other season when mowing 4 acres weekly.
