Hi, I would like to reset my bulb metrer to zero and change the floor to ceiling mount position but I need to acces the service menu with a passcode.

I understand you have a VX-1000d.
You only want to reset if the projector doesn't turn on because it is a
safety feature so the lamp does not explode. They get really hot and need to be replaced when due. You can buy one from the supplier or online.
There is a reset button on the inside of the
RGB connection bay(look deep) for a reset button, hold it down until the lamp light turns blue.
If flipped over on it's back, you would see it straight down beyond the
connectors. Of course this will reset to factory settings.
