I have a lexmark x2600 and i dont know how to use it. whats the steps of scanning a picture

The Lexmark OCR scan software for scanning and editing documents is only available in the installation disk (no downloadable version). If you lost the disk, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

If you have the Lexmark X2600 installation disc that came with your printer, insert it in your computer hard drive and it will automatically launch the software installation. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions on your computer screen. If you don't have the install disc, you can download the X2600 driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/aNGYmW. Select your operating system, download and execute the file. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.

open Photoshop software select pic scanning then settings and select default settings it would work. its becoz the pic size exceed the pic allowed in your settings.

Follow these steps on how to scan from the Lexmark X2670 printer using the operator panel. 1. Open the top cover, and then load an original document facedown on the scanner glass.


2. Close the top cover to avoid dark edges on the scanned image. 3. Make sure that the printer is connected to a computer, and that both the printer and the computer are on. 4. From the printer control panel, press 5. If you are using a Macintosh operating system, click on the document or image preview and drag to select the part that you want to scan, and then click Scan from the Scan dialog on the computer screen. 6. If you want to save the scanned image, then from the software application, click File > Save As. 7. Enter the file name, format, and location where you want the scanned image saved. 8. Click Save.

Once you see a '0' on the display, release the Color Copy button.

Press the up arrow button until a ' 5' appears on the display.

Press the Black Copy button to restore the printer settings to the factory defaults. When the reset process is complete, the printer will automatically reboot.
