Screen to thin on my laptop computer

Really?

Well get that cat back over there, and tell it to fix it, Wolfman! lol!

(Freakin' kitty, come back here, and fix my laptop screen, or no TV for you tonight! NO,....I'm NOT kiddin'! You can't watch Shrek)

Laptop running, Windows loaded, press, and hold down on the Fn key. Now tap the Spacebar.

Keep tapping until the screen size is correct.

(Cat must have stepped on the Spacebar, and Fn key at the same time)

I want to know how to use the function button

The function button, or FN button, is used just like the shift key or ctrl key. Hold the FN button down and press the key with the pre programmed function you desire to use. For instance, on an HP 1245 the function or short cut key to put the computer in sleep mode is FN+F5. The Keys with functions have that feature indicated by a symbol for the function in a squared circle. Most of these are your F keys at the very top row of the keyboard. Some are on the number pad keys.

My spacebar on keyboard is not separating one word from the next unless i press both spacebar and shift simultaneously.

Hello,
Go to System Preferences and select Speech, click on the tab on the right side "Text to Speech" and see if anything is checked like "Speak selected text when key is pressed". If it is uncheck it reboot and see if problem is gone. If that is not checked make sure nothing else is in that area, then try the following to reset the PRAM
If that doesn't work reboot and hold down CMD Option P R until you hear the startup chime repeat. I often let it chime 3 or 4 times to make sure that I have reset the PRAM

Hello there, normally on a game, you can set the resolution by going to options and find the video setup. if the screen is small try the settings, control panel, display. or right click the desktop, properties then settings. if still doesnt work. Reinstall the game so the default setting will be restored. hope this helps.

Spacebar dosn't work

Hello,
My suggestion is do a system restore and then run a virus scan yo ensure there are no trogens hidden on the computer.

To Run System Restore on Windows XP:

Click start --> Help and Support

In the window that shows up under the Heading "Pick a task" click on "Undo changes to your computer with System Restore"

Now go through the restore process, make sure you restore to a date before the date this happened.

When the computer reboots test the spacebar and if it works run a virus scan if you dont have an anti-virus program you can download one here: http://free.avg.com/
or you can get an online scan done at: http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/
the online scan does not work on Vista.

I hope this works, please let me know if you need further assistance

Have a great day
