sorry you missunderstand my problem, the plug on the stereo is a green single line 15 pin plug which i dont have,i have obtained a similar plug and i want to make up a lead canibalising a male to female iso short lead to fit my cars iso plug so i need to know the colours and positions of the original cables from the grand espace so i can do this, haynes type manuals dont seem to have full wire diagrams now hence needing help as a purpose made lead is not available, hope this clears up the confusion thanks.

  • ianhardie57 Jun 22, 2011

hi,ive received your solution but the photo did not come through so i cannot review the wire colours, just to be clear the connection on the unit is a single line 15 pin layout but ive not managed to find a suitable lead anywhere, thanks.

  • ianhardie57 Jun 22, 2011

hi my problem is the unit is a 6cd tuner but i dont have the original plug,so from a breakers yard i obtained a similar plug but i dont know the various wire positions on the unit to go with the wires i wish to connect, the wires in the normal iso are familiar to me just the sequence on the units plug so anyone with one of these units in there car should be able to help.thanks

  • ianhardie57 Jun 22, 2011

the 6cd tuner has a 15 pin in line plug on the back coloured green not the usual 2x8 iso setup,i plan to make a lead up myself using a short iso lead but need to know the units original wire colours and positions within the green plug if that makes sense,a colour photo of one of these plugs would be ideal, thanks.

  • ianhardie57 Jun 23, 2011

hi thanks for your input, the head unit is a 6cd tuner with a 15 pin plug that goes in the back i dont have this plug so i am making up a substitute short lead to fit to my cars iso plugs,i know what all the iso leads wires are but not the relevant places they will take up in the new plug i have made up.what i am looking for ideally is a photo or diagram of the wiring that goes with the unit if that makes sense thanks again.

  • ianhardie57 Jun 25, 2011

If you provide me with the exact model number of your unit, it probably starts with a part number like CDA-, I can help you. they make wiring harnesses for what you are trying to do, so you will not need to do all of the work, at most you will need to crimp wire tips on your wires and slide them into the connector. Again, I need the Alpine Part number and not the Tuner Number. Let me know when you can get this to me and I will help you out.

I'm going to give this go, bear with me because as far as the speaker wires i'm not 100% what color is what speaker.Lets start witht eh power in wire,
the larger red wire is power on from the battery, this aollows the radio to retain the setting.
Yellow is switched power, power that turns on and off with the key or switch.
Black is ground
you will have 8 wires of 4 different colors. those are speaker wires the four different colors there will be a solid color and one of the same color with a black strip on it the solid color is positive the one with the black strip is ground.
you will see 1 to 3 blue wires they are the remote wires for you power ant. amp power they will only have power when the radio is turned one.
If what you are working on is a radio head unit that should give the info you need.
If you dealing with a cd changer or add on please let know so i can better help

If you are referring to the Pioneer unit, built to Renault specifications, here is the pinout of the DIN connector (click on picture to enlarge):

Hi there,

I presume you have a "Renault" Laguna?

Here is a photo of the Renault wiring colours (Note: the tweeter wires have been custom-joined at the front speaker terminals - this is optional):

hi ive got an 020366 - wolfman304_43.gif

However, I strongly recommend you purchase an aftermarket "Renault-ISO/ISO-Alpine Harness Adaptors", which connects your Alpine unit directly to your vehicle's factory harness.

These ISO car audio harnesses can be purchased fairly cheaply online or at your local automotive car audio parts centre.

Cheers,

Im looking for a tyre pressure sensor for my renault laguna 2033 plate but not sure what im looking for or how to fit one thank you

1. The tyre has to be removed to fit the tyre valve/ sensor unit to the wheel. . Tyre dealers will do this for you when you supply the sensor.

2. Any renault dealer parts department can sell you a new sensor.

3. The new sensor has to be programmed to the car's tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

3. Here is a list of information about the Renault Laguna tyre pressure sensors to assist you. The 2nd link below shows a picture of the tyre valve/sensor unit that fits to your wheel.

I have a quinny buzz 2005 model have the adapters changed or will the newborn pushchair seat fit this model

Hi

The 2005 / 2006 model chassis can be used with an existing style seat unit - you will need a replacement sub seat as well as the fabric to go on it for the child to sit on. The existing fabric is not suitable to fit onto the sub seat (seat frame) that you have with this model.

Visit www.quinny.com and select your country, then choose "Contact Us" for your enquiry to be sent to the customer care team for your country who can advise on where to buy and costs.

I have a renault espace 2.2dt, 1998. Can i fit a Parrot CK3100 Handsfree Kit Bluetooth kit? if so how?

yes you can , depending on what kind of stereo system is in the car, you will need an iso adapter lead that allows your parrot to be connected in between your car audio and power connectors and the car stereo,Similar to this

scousemartin_1.jpg
You need a SOT ISO lead you can check for an installation guide here

I am wanting to install my own head unit in my 2001 renault espace and remove/disconect the original pioneer multi disc system so i have the stereo somewhere up front instead of being hidden away under...

You would be best to DIN conector to ISO, If you go on eBay and look for you car model and add ISO adapter on the end. this adaptor will make all the connections and wires easier to connect. this will put your renault wires into the Euro & US ISO.

Good Luck

Starting problem

Hi,
I'm truly not familiar with your particular model but by your description, I would suspect you have a weak battery connection. I'm assuming of course, that the engine is not turning over at all when you turn the ignition key... it just clicks rapidly. ?
If this is the case, clean the battery terminal connections for a good contact and give it another try.
I hope this does the trick... Good luck!
