I have a neptune front loader, after the wash cycle is complete the clothes smell like they have not even been wash with a **** moldy smell. I use Tide HE as directed but they still smell like i didn't even wash them. I have run three cycle of bleach and the Tide washer cleaner and it didn't help. any suggestions would be appreciated!

There will always be some residual water left in the outer tub after draining. This is normal for most washers. Purchase a container of Oxy-clean and cycle the washer a few times using hot water settings with a half-cup of Oxy-clean added to each cycle. This will help remove any organic matter left behind that might be causing odors.

You need to clean the stationary "brush" that collects lint and debris from the water during the cycle. The brush can be seen around the tub directly touching it along the bottom/front of the device. Right were I pour my detergent in, after the cloths are in there. To remove the debris I use a bottle brush. You can expect to use trial and error for your attempts. As far as the water being left.... My device has always left water in the bowl. I periodically just run a cycle with no cloths and bleach...HOT.....Mine is not spinning at the moment...again....I think its another call to the local dealer....AGAIN....

pump is probably clogged not allowing all water to drain out. Should never see water in the tub at the end of a cycle. About once a month you should run your washer through a cycle with hot water and bleach. Doing that should keep the moldy smell down.

The problem may be standing water in the discharge hose. If this is the case unplug the machine and remove the hose from the back of the machine, and water will poor out. If you smell mold from the hose, this could be the cause. Rinse the hose out thoroughly with bleach, if its a corrugated hose they are prone to standing water inside and you may want to replace it with a non- corrugated hose. I suggest you run the machine when hose is re- attached with only bleach a couple of times and leave the washer door ajar to completely dry the inside of the drum afterwards, too. The odor that you are experiencing may be from the growth of mold. Inside the washer, some small pools of water may be left standing and is harboring mold spores. Even though you may operate the washer regularly, the mold spores are not being washed away.I have a couple of tips that might help to eliminate odor issues in your washing machine. First, and the most effective in my research is to, leave the lid, or door to the unit open. By leaving the door open, it promotes air circulation and evaporation of standing water. The reduction in odor, will occur quickly and dramatically.

My second tip is to run the washer empty for a quick rinse cycle. Add an entire cup of bleach at the start of the cycle. The bleach is effective at destroying organisms, such as mold and bacteria. However, running it once will not be completely effective. I suggest pouring another cup of bleach into the wash tub/basket, after the cycle has completed. This will leave bleach as the standing pool and should prevent the growth of mold or bacteria. However, if you do this, before doing a load of laundry you should run an empty rinse cycle again, to avoid damage to the clothes from the bleach left standing in the wash tub.

Try Febreze laundry odor remover...that should help to take away that moldy smell.

You may want to try some Washer Magic, or similar product specifically designed to clean out washing machines. I personally use Affresh in my front loader and it works very well.

the washer has a low level of water in it at all times. it will never completely drain out unless you pump it. this is one of the reasons there is such a smell with these washers, i use vinegar in rinse cycle and i use bleach once sometimes twice a month to keep mold and mildew smell away.

its better do a maintenance, or put it to wash without cloths, only water and clorox, and varsol with the max level (water)

run cycle using bleach only in water after cycle use a bleach/water solution to thoroughly wash door seal be sure to pull seal at bottom of drum opening and clean inside lip in future leave door open as much as possible between cycles just remember YOU ARE NOT ALONE..all front loaders no matter the brand have same issue some just worse than others
