I have a SCA 5.5HP Pressure Washer.
Have been using it & no problems.
All of a sudden it had no pressure, just standard water pressure coming through.
Cleans water filter but no change.
Put it on full revs & pull the trigger & the engine should rev up & pump the pressure.
Nothing happens. Engine runs but no water pressure.
Checked all over, no kinks in hoses, nothing.
I am wondering if some fine dirt has gotten into the inlet of the pump (past the water filter)
Looking forward to any assistance or advise.
Thank & regards
Robert.

The tub seal could be broken or or ripped or torn and the tub bearing and the tub seals both need to be replaced then for your washing machine and dryer machine combo.
If you've noticed the water pressure in your home is either too high or too low, you may need to adjust your water pressure regulator. Water pressure is measured in "psi" (pounds per square inch) and should be set between 50-60psi for home use. Anything greater than 60psi can damage residential water lines and appliances. Not all homes have a water pressure regulator installed, but if you have one and can locate it, all you need is a few tools to begin adjusting your best pressure washer
Does the electric motor keep running? If it does continue to run with the trigger in the spraying position, then your pressure switch and motor are OK. If the motor is running and the water is not coming out with pressure, then either your check valves are not closing properly or the pumping mechanism is in need of repair. I think those little electrics have a simple wobble plate design. Basically not worth the effort to fix them
Hi , if you can send me some pictures of the machine i may be able to help. a lot of pressure washer people make their own machines up using off the shelf parts, unloaders timers pumps , control gear etc. pics of pump etc and electrics. been repairing them for 17 years [email protected]
sounds like you have a blockage maybe in your water hose ,ideally your water hose should be around 25 feet..or you may have an o ring in the gun where the tip goes.. is broken..that will affect your pressure..check also filter where water hose connects to the pump make sure thats clear
when running your pressure washer, if your running it at home make sure other appliances are not running also like a dishwasher or washing machine. when their pulling water it decreases the volume of water going to your pressure washer. if this is not the case. check the inlet from the water hose to the pressure washer, make sure the filter is clean. also the tips on the wand, make sure there is no hardwater build up. good luck!
This sounds like a problem with the pressure sensor which is located on the water inlet side of the pump. This switches the power to the motor when there is sufficient inlet pressure and water flow. This pressure switch can get partially siezed up, and not operate correctly.
You will need to dismatle the unit and identify the pressure switch, dismantle it and lubricate it with silicone grease.
Sounds like you need a water hammer control in your Hot water line, usually it's teed into the line and is just a short length of pipe with a cap on it, acts like a shock absorber
