Sharp LC -46SB54U will not turn on. The green power light flashes twice, then the green power light and green OPC light flash once together. This pattern then repeats itself over an over again. The tv is less than 3 yrs old.

Hello, Power supply board just die.It can be dead at anytimes.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

It appears your TV is not sequencing properly. By the order given in your instructions with the controller you are tuning, continue with a code until it satisfies .
Press setup- blinks twice. Enter TV manufacturer code- press enter. Light should flash once. Press on . After it works . Go through all the functions. Up- Down, loudness, channels,& on -off .
Ur Tuner signal board have problems or dead.Ur power LED light indicator stable for a few mins before the power LED light,and the OPC LED light indicators flashes?After the POWER light and OPC light indicators flashes,just push the power button again for the power recycles again.Probally have to pushes the power button 3 or 4 for power light and opc light indicators flashes,the LCD backlght will lght up and work.Sharp tv have this problems alot,very common in Sharp LCD tvs.

It's a power supply related problem. When it turns itself off, this it called protection mode. The TV automatically turns off to protect other parts form being damaged.
The most common problem is the Power Supply Unit or the Backlight Inverter Board.
You may have to take the TV to a repair shop to find out which one is bad. Paying a repair shop to replace the board for you maybe more than the TV is worth. If you let them diagnose it and you replace the bad circuit board yourself, it would be cheaper.
