Can I get an updater driver and software for my x73 so that it is compatable with my Dell Inspiron 530s running Vista OS?

Dear sir/madam,

Lexmark software was not compatible with Vista. Go to the Lexmark website and see if they have one for download printer driver for Windows Vista Home Edition.

Call this number get the driver cd's and software update or else better for replacement the printer if you have any warranty......

bring usb wi-fi from market it will turn your computer to wi-fi capable, other wise you need usb cable to connect printer with you laptop and drivers as well..

I can't hookup my Z600 series printer with my Dell inspiron that has vista. When I use the disc that came with the printer it says "English" not available.

You can use the print driver available for download in the Lexmark website. Is your Vista running on 32-bit or 64-bit? To check, go to Start Menu> right click on Computer> Properties. And it would have been better if you posted the exact model number of your printer (e.g. Lexmark Z605, Lexmark Z615, Lexmark Z640, etc.) so I can point you straight to the driver in the Lexmark website. To download the driver, just click on this link: http://bit.ly/aiWCx4 . Type the exact model number of your printer in the bar just below the images of some of Lexmark's printers. On the next page, choose the correct driver compatible with the operating system of your Vista computer. Download and install the software.

Lexmark have not yet released a driver for Vista and there does not appeasr to be any intention to do so from what i have read on their bulletins. Dopn;t wait sell it on ebay to an xp user and get a better supported printer

You need to look at the printers manual or the box for the required system use before trying to install it. If it's not compatible with Window's Vista, it will not work.

Computer will not communicate with printer

Go out to Lexmark web site and look for a vista update in their software download section. So this should solve your problem.Most of the cds which come with equipment do not contain vista software and drivers.
