Dear Sir: Every time I turn on my PC I get an error box, it's heading says...Microsoft Visual C Runtime Library. Then, Runtime Error Program C:\Program Files\Ascentive\Performance Center\APCMaine.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. I have tried to delete this through C:\Program Files but it will not allow me to do so. Could you please tell me how to delete this as it is a very annoying nuisance.Thanks. Jim Fairweather [email protected]

Yes, I did fix the problem. I merely did a system restore to the day before the problem occured & voila.

I really didn't need the advice I received from you people, that I should take my computer to a repair shop, I knew that

Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Error

I just recently install Window 7 ultimate on my computer and then Acrobat 8 Pro start acting up. Try to open PDF file it will open for a little while then this thing pop up said Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Library and Runtime Error. Then it shut down.

Anyone know how to solve this problems please help.

Does the Program issue you the name of the suspect runtime library at any point? If it does, go get the latest version of the runtime from the NET, in a searchengine type the name of the file+ext. download and then copy it in the same direrctory (folder) as the one on your system now. NOTE: I would FIRST rename the one on your system as <currentfilename.current_extention>and then add .OLD to it.
