Need the software to install the lexmark 1200 series model 4476-007 on my laptop

Please follow the steps below on how to properly install your Lexmark 1200 Series printer on your Windows 7:

if you go to lexmark web site and download driver for your printer 1200 and should be for the OS(e.g. XP/Win7). Hope it will work.

Yes you can download the software from the manufacturers website. Go to http://www.lexmark.com and look for downloads. Then enter your printer make and model to find your software. Download the software by following the instructions and install it on your computer before connecting your printer.

The lexmark drivers and software required for installing the printer is available at www.lexmark.com

Select Drivers & downloads then driver finder.

Type in your model x2350 for example

Select your windows version

Download the setup program.

1.Download software
2.Run the downloaded setup
3.Plugin the printer when asked
4.Done

Try to re-do the installation. You may need to manually install the driver for the printer. If same error occurs, you need to use updated driver for the printer. Download the driver from Lexmark website.

Yes there are drivers for the Lexmark 1200 series available on the Lexmark.com Website. If you upgraded your PC to Vista or installed the drivers from CD you should uninstall the printer drivers and download and install the Vista drivers .

Does it power on? How is it connected to your computer? Did you install the drivers for it?
