E602-0001 is a Hard disk error, reinstalled software, hard drive or DC controller bad
The E602-001 codes mean that the device cannot find the system software it needs to complete the boot up process. It is stored on the hard drive. The system software is either corrupt or the hard drive is going/gone bad and therefore the device can't access the data. It's almost certain the hard drive has gone bad as it will corrupt the system software as it crashes. You can purchase an "off the shelf" hard drive BUT the problem is that it will need to be formatted and have the system software put on it. The utility used to do this is called SERVICE SUPPORT TOOL and is proprietary and can only be downloaded from the Canon support site,and you have to have a valid Canon issued support I.D.
Now you can TRY to revive the hard drive,and it may last a bit longer. Turn off the MAIN power switch located on the right side rear of the device.Now hold down the "1 and 9 " numbers on the operator control panel. Keep them held down as you power up the machine.Keep them held down until you see a blank screen and light colored blocks will begin to drop from the top of the screen to the bottom.
You are now defragmenting the hard drive.This takes a while so go knit a sweater.You'll know its done when the blocks stop falling.Then power the machine off again, wait a few seconds and power it back up normally.This may buy some time.I wish I had better news,I'm very sorry.But at least you know whats going on and perhaps the defrag will help you for a while.

Turn on the copier (using switch on right side of copier) and hold down the 1 and 9 keys. Blocks should fall on the screen. This may take a while.
If this works, you'll then need to reload the firmware onto the copier using SST.
If this doesn't work hdd is dead.
Either way you'll soon need to replace your hdd and use SST to install the firmware onto the hdd. I suggest calling your tech.
The IR3300's a great machine. With the optional network print kit installed it can be use to print and pull scan, not just photocopy. This machine was built to last. Take care of it and it should keep on going for quite a while yet.
