Cannot connect to internet using laptop - Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router

If u want to connect the mobile to pc or laptop for using mobile internet on pc or laptop. Then first connect the mobile via usb to pc/laptop and in mobile select the pc suite and in the pc/laptop u can see at the right of the screen at the bottom the internet connection icon click on that and u can see ur phones name click on that and click on connect then a dialog box appear if u want to enter username and password enter in the dialog box and click dial. The pc/laptop wil use the mobile internet

you have to contact your customer care and they will give you the settings to access it on laptop...
After getting the gprs settings. You have to connect your mobile with your laptop and start samsung PC suite,
In the PC suite you will find a option to connect to internet. use this option to connect to internet...hope this will help..:)

The laptop has a Ethernet connector so, if you have a internet connection in your home you should be able to connect it with a wire to the router or the modem and it should work.

Go into network set up a shared Internet connection using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) You can use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to share an Internet connection among two or more computers on a network. First, you need one computer, called the host computer, that is connected to the Internet and that has a separate connection to the other computers on your network. You enable ICS on the Internet connection. The other computers on your network then connect to the host computer, and from there to the Internet through the host computer's shared Internet connection.
If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might prevent you from completing these steps.
On the host computer (the computer whose Internet connection you plan to share):

1. Click to open Network Connections.
   
2. Right-click the connection that you want to share, and then click Properties. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
   
3. Click the Sharing tab, and then select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box.
   

Do you need to see the desktop or just share folders from each other? If the latter then you need to do the following:

Use Windows Explorer and select a folder you want to share. Right click and select sharing and security.

On the sharing tab click on Share this folder. Enter a share name ( I like to enter the PC name _folder name; Rick1_Downloads)

Click on Permissions. If your ok with everyone using the PC's and Laptops having access then highlight Everyone and click on Full Control.

Do this on each PC and Laptop.

That should be it or darned near close.

I managed to figure it out. I had to clone the MAC address to get the router to connect to the Internet.

I still have another problem though, my laptop still won't connect to the router. I'm using Vista, is this a possible network adapter issue? My laptop is fine at connecting to other wireless networks round my friend's houses/libraries...

Hi Sure you can use Internet wireless first tell me  

what kind of internet cannection are you using (Dial up or Broadband) If that is broadband then connect the access point into switch RJ-45 port then put the ip and DNS into laptop which ISP provided definetly internet will run.
