Hello,

Common problem with this TV is the power supply module.
Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out power transistor and zener diode, If otherwise you contact the manufacturer or a skilled qualified personnel to handle the fault..
Hoping that will help to solve the problem....

My daughter went to turn the tv off and had static electricity on her and tv went off and won't come back on

That tells me there is a bigger problem than that. I have several TVs in my house, none of which have ever been affected by static electricity before.

Volume at max and won't go down

This sounds like a common problem on these TVs. Try a factory reset:

1. Press and hold "Menu" and "Channel+" on the TV. (do not use the remote)
2. Using the other hand, press the Power button.
3. A small screen should appear in the top left part of the screen.
4. Using the remote, select "Memory Recall" and Enter.
5. Power off and reboot the TV and Computer.
6. Run channel auto-scan to regain the picture.

Tv won't power up after power went out

Most likely your TV's power supply was damaged with the power surge. You will need to take it to a repair place and have the supply checked out and find out the cost versus the value of the TV. I hope this helps.

Hello!
First move: unplug your broadcast provider's box, wait for a minute, then plug it back into power source. I mean: leave all the connections intact, just unplug from power source. It might be just power cord or power adapter. If that's not the case, please do the same with TV. Unplug it from wall outlet, wait a minute, plug it back in. It's a next step, if your "box" won't take care of the problem. If that won't take care of the issue, refer to owner's manual for "reset" procedure. Worst case scenario: you might need to replace main board inside or your TV.
good luck,
Thanks,
Alex.

TV won't turn on. For a short time, it was on then went off now we can't get it back on....

the problem was there's a cold solder on the power supply or in the raster circuit. Look for lose contact in the PCB board it might gonna work or check your plug might lose wiring. You need soldering to do this job.
