I've reviewed the installation and programming instructions for your lock, and have not seen any description of this particular problem.
Let me direct you to Schlage's web page where you can find installation and programming instructions in PDF form as well as videos for your lock. Yow will find it under "Electronic Security-Keypad Deadbolt BE365' about 3/4 of the way down this page:

You can cut and paste the above link into your browser's search bar. You need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer to open the PDF files containing printable instructions (http://get.adobe.com/reader/)
At the top of the consumer.schlage... webpage, there is a link for Service and Support. From there (Contact Us) you have all of the contact information that you need to contact Schlage, including online chat and 888 area code phone numbers.
