My kodak easy share CX7430 camera says error E45. It lets me set the date and time then goes to the error screen.

E45 means it has a lens error., the gear of the lens is already defective you need to call precision camera for repair toll free 1 800 665 6515

e45 is a Lens Problem

power off camera
remove batteries
reinsert batteries
power ON camera

if same message appears

follow step by step upto the end

it will give you option to send in camera for a repair

Kodak has been making a lot of changes to that program, due to problems. If you loaded the software that came with the camera, it is very likely out of date. You need to visit the Kodak website and download the latest version of the software.
