I have a Linksys Wireless-G 2.4Ghz Broadband Router. The Problem is that I
cant access the internet via the wireless router. I can get a signal between
my laptop and the router i.e the laptop finds the wireless network, but it
will not allow me to gain access to the internet. The router is connected to
my cable modem via an ethernet connection, though if I connect the laptop
directly to the modem I do this via USB. Does anyone know if this is a common
problem or if it may be a problem that I will have to contact my ISP about??
Any tips? I would be very grateful!!!
NOTE: It is
advisable to connect the computer to one of the Ethernet (1, 2, 3 or 4)
ports when setting up the router for the first time. If you have
successfully configured the router using a wireless computer, unplug the
Ethernet cable which connects the computer to the router for you to
have wireless Internet connection. For instructions on how to connect
the wireless computer to go online using the Linksys router, click here.
Step 3:
Make sure the power adapter is plugged in to an available power outlet.
Step 4:
Check if the corresponding LEDs on the router are lit. For instructions, click here.
